Rams Stampede To 1-0 In Regular Season...
The first score of the game is an 80 yard completion from Vince Young to Lance Moore, the score is 7-0 Cardinals lead. END OF 1st QUARTER. Adrian Peterson rushes it in for 6 from 3 yards out, the score is 14-0 Cardinals lead. HALFTIME. Billy Cundiff kicks it in for 3 from 56 yards out, the score is 17-0 Cardinals lead. Lawrence Tynes kicks it in from 32 yards away, the score is 17-3 Cardinals lead. Ray Rice rushes it in from 1 yard away for 6, the score is 17-10 Cardinals lead. Billy Cundiff kicks it in for 3 from 39 yards away, the score is 20-10 Cardinals lead. Adalius Thomas makes tackle in the endzone for a safety, the score is 20-12, Cardinals lead. END OF 3rd QUARTER. Drew Brees hooks up with Marques Colston for 6 from 43 yards away, the score is 20-20 tie game. Drew Brees hooks up with Deangelo Williams from 8 yards out for 6, the score is 27-20 Rams lead. Billy Cundiff kicks the ball in from 24 yards out for 3, the score is 27-23 Rams lead. Vince Young passes to Eric Bennett for 6 from 49 yards out, the score is 30-27 Cardinals lead. Larod Stephens-Howling takes a kickoff to the house for 6, the score is 34-30 Rams lead. Chris Canty pick 6’s it, the score is 41-30 Rams lead. Ray Rice rushes it in from 3 yards out for 6, the score is 48-30 Rams lead. GAME OVER. I am at a crossroads right now… we won the game but it was a sloppy victory and the score would have been closer if we didn’t get lucky several times. The defense has somehow turned out to be a “clutch” defense meaning they only pull through when the team needs them the most. The offense is getting shutdown on almost every rushing/passing attempt except after finally tiring down the Cardinals defense in the 4th quarter and being able to finally move the ball. I don’t know how next week will go as we take on WR Chad Ochocinco, MLB Jon Beason, and the Oakland Raiders… this should be interesting. The Rams start the season 1-0.

This is the first time this season I can say I am proud of my players on both offense and defense and even one player in particular on special teams. We all in all creamed a team with better players, better record, and overall better chances of winning but we close out the preseason 2-2 and set off for the regular season where we prove that this season we came to play and we mean business… our first game is against offensive leader Adrian Peterson, defensive leader Adrian Wilson, and the Arizona Cardinals.

Wow… another stunning loss making this the second in the preseason and second of my description to you guys. Well Once again we have to recover and quick going 1-3 in preseason is just unacceptable and must not happen. This week we have QB Tom Brady and the outstanding 2-1 Ravens. The Ravens have a stacked offense led by Tom Brady and a veteran receiving core. Hopefully the loss of their second string running back Correll Buckhalter will slow down the running game a bit. As the end of the preseason approaches I am starting to think I made a mistake choosing veterans to lead this defense through the season as the only veteran doing great so far is Brian Dawkins as Ray Lewis is getting too old and slow to hit the holes in time. The Ravens defense is led by ROLB Terrell Suggs as he is a powerhouse when it comes to stopping the run game but I am hoping he has a bad game and Ray Rice can find spaces in this defense to exploit for big gains.

Lets see if they can gather themselves together for the last game of preseason and continue into the regular season with a win in the last game.

I am stunned after a heartbreaking loss to the Browns in last weeks game. This Week we have the Patriots who are also coming off a tough loss. The Patriots look tough with offensive leaders like QB Donovan McNabb and WR Roddy White. Their defense is another solid piece of their team lead by MLB Curtis Lofton and LOLB Clay Matthews... Lets see how our struggling rush offense can match up against these 2 powerhouses. After last week I am evaluating every player to the tee to see who is here to play and who isnt.

Rams Get Trampled by the Browns...
The Browns started the Game with the ball but on a great play by starting DE Adewale Ogunleye he picked the ball off and ran it in for 6. Midway through the 1st quarter Kevin Smith rushed it in from the 1yd line for 6. Deangelo Williams rushes in for 6 from the 5 yard line. Another 6 for the Rams as Drew Brees connects with Marques Colston on a 15yd pass. At the end of the 1st quarter the score is 21-7 Rams lead. To start the 2nd Kevin Smith rushes it in again for 6 from 1yd away. Mark Sanchez hooks up with Andre Johnson for a 26yd TD pass. Ricky Williams rushes it in from 5yds away for 6. Ricky Williams rushes for another 6 this time from 30yds away. Drew Brees Hooks up again with Marques Colston for 6 but this time from 70yds away. At the end of the 2nd quarter the score is 35-28 Browns Lead. To start the 3rd quarter Billy Volek hooks up with Heath Miller for 6 on a 3yd pass. Ray Rice gets 6 as he rushes it in from 10yds away. At the end of the 3rd quarter the score is 42-35 Rams Lead. To start the 4th quarter Kevin Smith gets another 6 but this time from 30yds out. 42yd field goal made by Robbie Gould. Kevin Smith rushes for 6 from 24 yards out. At the end of the game the score is 52-42 Browns walk away with the W and a 1-1 record. As for the Rams they will need to practice hard… I liked what I saw out of the first string this time and the second string just let the team down.

I am worried coming into this game as we go up against a tough Browns team. I am not under estimating them like i did the Vikings cause we all saw how that turned out but the Browns just took a licking from the Packers and may not be coming in so hot. The Browns have an amazing Receiver core but lack experience at QB with Mark Sanchez. Our CB core is still pretty ****ty and hopefully we wont get hurt too bad in the passing game. Ricky Williams is gonna come in thinking he will run all over us like Cedric Benson did last week but Ray Lewis will be ready to redeem himself in this one.
Rams Comeback With Power In The Second Half...
I couldn’t believe the first drive by the Vikings as they ran all over us but we managed to stop them for a field goal. They out us at 3 and out then we did the same to them as the first quarter narrowed down. With 11 seconds left in the first quarter I tied it up with a field goal. As I stated before I have very inexperienced corners and it showed as in one play Matt Stafford passed to Steve Johnson for six. Another Vikings Drive another Vikings TD this time with a 53 yard rush by Cedric Benson. And Again they score and again with a huge 81 yard run by Cedric Benson… I don’t like whats happening right now. We are already losing by 21 and to top it off in the 2nd quarter Greg Camarillo gets and Abdominal tear but will only be gone for a week. Late in the second I put up another FG only slightly shortening the gap. TOUCHDOWN!!! Drew Brees with a beautiful pass to Jerheme Urban. We still go into the half losing 24-13 but we get the ball to start the half. OMG… To start the half Jacoby Ford returns the kickoff for a TD and a 2-point conversion by Deangelo Williams to make the score 24-21 vikings with the lead. Adalius Thomas gets a sack fumble which is recovered by DT Colin Cole. TD rush by Deangelo Williams to give the Rams the lead at 28-24. The Vikings charge down field but come up short and only score a field goal. Rams charge downfield to come up short and only get another FG. TD run by Deangelo Williams to increase our lead to 11. At the beginning of the 4th Vikings score again with a TD and 2-Point Conversion 38-35 Rams Lead. Another rushing TD by Deangelo Williams making the score 45-35 Rams Lead. Terrell Thomas pick 6 making the score 45-42 Rams still Lead. Rams Win 45-42 in my opinion this is too close for comfort and we have a lot of work to do and I am very happy with how my second team did seeing that is who scored the most and won us the game.

The first game of the preseason starts with a home game against the Minnesota Vikings... this looks like a tough Game as they possess a Defensive leader in Patrick Willis. But it looks like it should be an easy game considering they have a young QB in Matt Stafford and a weak run game lead by Cedric Benson... I hope its safe to say they will have to beat me with theyre defense.
Prediction
Rams 42
Vikings 28
Rams 42
Vikings 28

Kicking Off The Preseason
Kicking Off The Preseason
Here we are the preseason where we see who is here to play and who isn't. I will be doing a game by game review of my dynasty with the St.Louis Rams. In my Fantasy Draft I was able to pick-up both great offensive players and great defensive players. On offense we have a great QB in Drew Brees, we have a tag team of HB's in Ray Rice and Deangelo Williams, and in the receiving game we have greats such as Donald Driver, Marques Colston, and a rookie looking to prove himself in Jacoby Ford. On defense you won't believe who I got...RAY LEWIS!. So you see the middle is secure but we also have a veteran in Adalius Thomas at LOLB, and another great at FS Brian Dawkins and he will need a great season to help make up for our inexperienced cornerback core.
