This game was marketed as being able to earn VC in every game mode. And since launch you've never been able to get any VC for playing association games. And now since the patch they've taken away the ability to get it from playing quick games. Or at least now you have to jump through hoops to get it to work.

It just feels like they weren't satisfied with the amount of money they were making on people buying their VC with real money so they limited the ways you could earn it in the game so more people would fork over cash to buy their VC. And that really sucks and is saddening.

Well, when the game first came out I kept reading posts about people not getting VC for association games. I've tried starting an association a few different times and I never get any VC after playing the first game or two so I just stopped trying.

And now you have to switch teams and disable trophies to get any VC for quick games after the patch.

I've read in a few other posts the getting VC in association mode is random and usually you don't get it but sometimes you do. I'm not beat for that, I just won't play that mode then. And I'm certainly not paying for my VC,

I also play on PS3 if that makes a difference.

I agree. I never get VC for quick games anymore, and Blacktop gets you 150 for the first game but after that it stops. I cant say much about Association because Im usually too wrapped up in it to notice if I get VC or not... but right now the only ways to get VC everytime is my career games/ paydays (both of which are miniscule in terms of the cost of things) and the online blacktop. The myNBA2k app is a godsend.

Yeah, the app is great. Sometimes I'll just sit there and keep playing the trivia game over and over until I reach my daily limit. Which seems to be around 1,000 VC.

You've got to play an hour in association to get VC. If you don't like the mode, then don't play it.

I play Association because it's my favorite mode, not to farm VC.
