Re: Hackers Take EA Servers Down, Madden NFL 17 & Many Other EA Games Impacted

I'm on PS4 and just finished an online franchise game. I had an issue where I got disconnected after completing my weekly training, and I got disconnected right after I finished my game, but I loaded it back up and thankfully it saved.

This concerns me going forward, never knowing when a server issue could cause me to lose data. A preseason game? The super bowl? The 5th round of the draft?

I'm starting to regret going online with my CFM but starting in offline mode is gonna be a chore.

And this is why I have an offline for CFM and online CFM.

Hopefully this answers the question to the cloud vs offline CFM lol

I didn't mind so much when the servers were down today, but now that it's time for my friends and I to draft it does suck a bit. It's tough to get a day that works for all of us, and now we'll have to look to another day.

Give me a physical disc and an offline solo mode and I'm good.

There are too many jacktards running around who want nothing but to cause people grief.

Sorry for all those that are unable to play their games because of this, I know it sucks. Hope it's back up for you guys soon.
I know!
I only buy discs, only use tele-modems for Internet and lol at HD tvs.
Not on my life. I got a "CRTs only" tattoo on my calf.

Try again?
Not a PS4 example, but there have been times when Xbox Live was having issues & I couldn't play a digital copy of a game. While physical copies worked. It happened with Witcher 3 a few times.

This makes no sense at all.
The disc downloads onto your HD just like the digital.
I have seen your exact quote above many times concerning many games and it simply is just not true. I am at work or I would spend the time to post the article that has been posted many times when it comes to this.
Again have a digital or physical copy has no effect at any time when it comes to playing a game. They are one and the same.

That why there was the big DRM fiasco when these consoles were released. Not sure about ps4 but I know that Xbox one "checks in" with its servers every so often to make sure you still own the rights to a game.

I'm all digital on ps4 and never had an issue playing a game when it's servers were down.
