Week 14: Packers @ Lions

Someone had to make this thread.

I do not take Detroit lightly. They almost beat Chicago last week, they almost beat us at Lambeau.

What sucks though is that this is an absolute must win for us if we're going to get into the Playoffs. I don't like all that pressure, even if we're the better on-paper team.

Come on Lions. Win a damn game.

Play like it's the Super Bowl like you did on Sunday.

I wouldn't consider this an absoute MUST win for the Playoffs. I'd reserve that for the Giants game because if we win that, then we have tiebreaker over them AND the Eagles.

Both are must wins imo. Too many good teams for 10-6 to guarantee GB a playoff spot. If the Packers slip up and lose this week they have to win in New England to get to 11-5. That's a lot harder than winning in Detroit.

This is a trap game.

The Lions scored the most points of any team against the Packers. The Packers need to put the pedal to the medal and don't let up.

The Lions are a very good team with plenty of weapons.

We seem to be a team that plays hard and keeps things close with our 2nd and 3rd string QB's. Has me scratching my head that one.

We could win this one and lose at New England(which I expect us to do BTW)and still be in good shape because that doesn't affect our Conference Record. So in a way, losing this one wouldn't be AS bad as losing the game to the Giants since that's who we're battling with for a playoff spot.

Either way, playoffs or not we still need to go out there and not have a let down against the Lions because they've been in every game they've played against a good team this year so I expect them to play us tougher again.
