No, he has been funny. This distinction belongs completely to Martin Short.

Kattan = horrible.
I actually like Brendan Fraser, but he's not a super funny-boy. He's a good actor who does comedies. At least I think he's a good actor. |

I agree. Frasier isn't a comedian by trade, so I don't think he qualifies. I agree with the thoughts about how bad Martin Short and Chris Kattan are. And KWhit, yes I was inspired by that god-awful Lays commerical. |

Dana Carvey doing Perot and Bush in the early '90s on SNL is classic comedy. He is far from the least funny person ever, although his new commercial is super lame.
Martin Short is up there for least funny. I think Tom Green is turning into one of the least funny people out there that makes money for supposedly being funny. |

The answer is: every female stand-up comedian I can think of right now. Seriously. I can't think of one who makes me laugh. Rita Rudner, Rosanne, Joy Behar, Margaret Chou, Ellen Degenerate, Sandra (shudder) Bernhardt, .... I'm drawing a blank on the rest, but they all suck.

Dana used to really, really funny back in his SNL days. Everything he's done lately has been crap, though...

Dana Carver is about as funny as a death in the family, but I vote for Martin Short as being even less funny. Everything he does he does with that "I'm so f***ing clever" grin on his face. God I hate him.
David Spade sucks too. |

Some female comedians are very good. Margaret Cho, though, was terrible.
Other entires: Bob Saget, Kevin Meaney, and virtually anyone who wound up on the game show "Make Me Laugh". Carrot Top wasn't bad in his day. He's creepy now, of course. Dana Carvey may be the poster-boy of "can't miss" comedy stars who went down the toilet. Great potential, started strong, still kicking around on name value alone. He's the Jeff George of comedians. |

His stand-up routine, when he was featured on Rodney's yearly HBO special in the late 80's, was actually not bad. I laughed. Some off-color jokes as well, surprisingly.

She's another one I never really liked, at least as a stand-up comedian. She was the feature "guest" on a remade version of To Tell the Truth, and was pretty funny with some of her off-the-cuff comments. But her routines I never liked.

WASHED UP BABY BOOMERS ARE THE MOST UNFUNNY
Robin Williams for the past 10 years or so has been pablum. Billy Crystal is a bitter wanna be award show host. Dan Akroyd...Driving Miss Daisy, nuff said. Steve Martin was brilliant, too pretentious. Unfortunately, Bill Murray is starting to tread in this water too. |

Carrottop, Judy Tenuda, Emo Phillips and Sandra Bernhardt are all lightyears worse than Carvey who is rather mediocre nowadays. At least he was moderately funny at his peak on SNL. These other clowns were/are and will never be funny.

Judy Tenuda! There's another one. I still haven't been reminded of a female comedian I like.
I think she was (is?) married to Bobcat. He's probably on someone's list, no?

i couldn't agree more. i LOVE stand-up comedy, and have seen countless acts, either in person or on tv, and not one woman has ever made me laugh out loud. it's either poor delivery (lots of them laugh at their own jokes, unfunny to begin with, but then that just doubly kills the joke), terrible content (i've found male bashing to be a favorite topic amongst female stand-ups), or just flat out unoriginal, recycled material. |

But yeah, agreed, a lot of them spend way too much time recycling the "men are idiots" routine. Molly Shannon's standup comedian character on SNL was a pretty accurate portrayal. But then again, there are a lot of male hacks out there too. |

I can't stand Rudner, and I didn't like Degeneres before she had her own show and the whole lesbian thing came out. I remember her standup routine from before she was on that realtor's office sitcom with Charles Philip Mackenzie (wasn't that his name, or Philip Charles, one or the other?).

As for female standups, Kathy Griffin has been pretty funny...
As far as least funny person on the planet, Pauly Shore, Tom Green and Carrot Top all equally deserve to have their vocal cords cut.

Carrot Top used to be funny. I have not seen him do anything except commercials lately, so it's hard to say how it's going for him these days. I still remember his Mark Fuhrman utility belt, and that was a great gag.
Pauly Shore has been funny at times. Tom Green has been funny at times. Very few of the people listed have NEVER been funny... I suspect most of you thought those people were funny at one time, but now you know it is not cool to like them so you go through that backlash thing... It's true that there seems to be a lot of female comedians who just seem to try too hard, and the laughs don't come. However, most of them would probably be real funny if they would get off of zoloft long enough. |

As long as she doesn't talk, she has something going... and stop the silly goofy faces. Well, depending on what you guys are planning to do with her, keeping silly expressions off of her face may prove to be impossible....
