UPDATED: 2:22 p.m. EST January 31, 2003

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. -- BREAKING DEVELOPMENTS: Police in Fort Myers are reportedly looking for a man who allegedly shot his wife at a Citgo gas station there. A "Be On The Lookout" (BOLO) alert was issued for the man who shot his estranged wife in the head and then drove south on Alligator Alley, eventually abandoning his car near the Miami area. Police have not confirmed that the man in the Fort Myers incident and the man involved in the North Miami-Dade County hijacking are the same person. The couple involved in the Fort Myers shooting have two young children.
