Saw the trailer the other week and it's hilarious. It looks like a really good movie and hopefully all the funny parts won't be in the trailers.

Mike Tyson: "This is my favorite part."

I think it looks great. Galifianakis is hilarious and I'm also a fan of Ed Helms and to a lesser extent, Brad Cooper. Plus, Mike Tyson (of course): YouTube - The Hangover trailer 3 Mike Tyson singing

Saw this last night. Already it's jumped into the Top 3 of my all-time favorite comedy's, and it's got the potential to surpass Old School (2) and Zoolander (1) if it holds up over time.

Just an awesome, awesome movie.

I've heard nothing but good things.

If I was still allowed to go out and see movies, I would be all over this.

Break whatever rules and laws are necessary to get yourself to this movie.

I've only heard 1 bad review, but I'm still very interested in seeing it. It might be by myself though, not in Ant's list of movies to see.

The movie was excellent. I laughed out loud at least 10 different times, and was at least holding a light chuckle for 90% of the film. Not since.. Honestly, I don't think there are any films I have seen where I laughed as often or as consistently hard.

I saw this last weekend and was laughing my ass off pretty much the entire movie. I hate to over hype something, but it was definitely one of the funniest comedies I've ever seen.

Saw it tonight. The theater was jam-packed. Many were seeing it for a second time. I could see why. Instant DVD purchase. One of the funniest movies I've seen ever.

+1 on one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

Kicks the crap out of any Apatow movie. If you liked Old School or Road Trip (both also directed by Todd Phillips), The Hangover is better.

For those who have seen the trailers and are still on the fence: They could have cut random scenes from anywhere in the film, thrown together 90 seconds of it and had a great trailer. The movie is probably actually funnier than the trailers. All the way through.

I was just wondering this. If I hadn't read this thread or heard the Internet buzz, I never would've thought about seeing this movie. The trailers make it look like a really random, not funny movie. I haven't seen the movie yet but I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that got that impression from the trailers.

The interesting thing about the scenes from the trailer is that they are actually funnier in the movie itself when included in context. Also, I'm convinced that I missed some funny stuff because of all the laughing that occured during the dialog.

Actually, there's one scene that isn't as funny in progress as it is in trailer, although it is funny...

I thought it was great...but not as quite as good as Old School as some are saying. But, this has the opportunity to grow on me on DVD. I liked Superbad the first time, but it was even better the second and third time.

That's good to hear. I haven't seen it yet, but absolutely nothing on the preview looks that funny to me, and I love the "oldschool" type movies.

Just saw it tonight, absolutely brilliant. First movie I've seen in a long time with more than 5 laughing-so-hard-i-cried moments. I'm amazed people think Old School is even in the same league as this TBH.

I agree actually. There's some good stuff in Old School, but I always felt that was a bit overrated. This is much more consistently funny.

I finally saw this movie and have to call it "decent". I did get a few solid laughs, but mostly just chuckles. I certainly never missed any dialog for the laughter. Give this movie some time though, and some repeated viewings and I could see this becoming fairly quotable.

I was turned off a bit by the inferences that Fat Jesus touched kids(the whole not allowed to be in front of an elementary school bit). Unless that was just a joke I missed.

I don't know...after all the stuff with the baby at the table, I think him not being allowed to touch kids is a pretty good idea.

I guess it was just poorly written. I mean, if you're watching a "buddy" movie, it just doesn't make sense to have one of the main characters be a pedophile. Or allude to it. Carlos at the table was more humorous. Inferences that fat jesus may have touched kids inappropriately were not.
