We seem to have taken a large leap forward this season, looking at our record. However, a closer look reveals that we still have a ways to go. Only one of our wins this season came against a team with a winning record. Still, I have to be encouraged. Further, I have two draft picks in round 1 in 2006.

I actually liked Fido's better because everything was clickable, but it doesn't seem to work with the latest patch, and I fear he may think there is no reason to make it anymore now that Jim has released his.

I think Jim's is prettier, but I prefer Fido's functionality.

I like Fido's better for looking through my own league's history, but the way Jim's puts stuff on one page makes it very easy to copy-and-paste into a dynasty report. I'm sure I'll be using both of them once Fido updates for 5.0d.

Yeah, I guess it may be better for like multiplayer or reporting a dynasty.

And I agree, I really enjoyed Fido's work for archiving my league... man I miss that.

FWIW, the white-on-white and white-on-light-blue text in most of those tables are largely unreadable for me - I presume because I use the Sideline skin.

That's exactly right. We will need to add in "Works best with Yellow Skin" or "...Sideline Skin" in our posts when showing off stats.

(Looks great in Yellow)

Didn't think about that. It definitely is very readable on the yellow version of the board. Others?

Dola--

Incidentally, I solved the WYSIWYG editor problems I was having by using FrontPage as my text editor. I have no idea why it works, but it works with an easy copy-and-paste, and no funny characters added. I can also copy and paste HTML screens and Excel tables onto FrontPage, then copy-and-paste to the board flawlessly. Odd. I hope they'll make this editor 100% Word-compatible though.

Word add so many crap tags, its not really the editors fault but Words. There are editors out there that have a "Word Clean" button that removes the BS tags added.

I'm a Sideline Green user, and the text above also appears nearly unreadable for me.

I'm having the same problem. There are also other places where the Sideline font fails (I think sending a PM is good example). I like Sideline too much to change, but on the new board it has some issues.

So...do some changes need to be made to the Sideline skin then? If so, it would be good if you Sideline users would make a list for Shorty to see.

I don't think there are any changes that can be made without changing the sideline. To see that the default text for the sideline would have to be darker, which would mean that to see the normal text properly the default background would have to be lighter, and then the sideline wouldn't be the sideline anymore.

Dola: Changes could be made to the HTML though, as it seems that it doesn't define a color for the text

We seem to have taken a large leap forward this season, looking at our record. However, a closer look reveals that we still have a ways to go. Only one of our wins this season came against a team with a winning record. Still, I have to be encouraged. Further, I have two draft picks in round 1 in 2006.

I'm sure problems are with how the text and table cells are being defined, I had a similar problem with my tequilas stuff at first. It looks like the text color is set by font tags, a la

Code:
Maassluis Merchantmen (WC)

in some cases, but not all - notably the stats. They fall prey to the TD tag setting bgColor=#e8ebf0, however in the body tag of the css, the text color is set to white. There is no stylesheet definition or sets of font tags to change that, so the text stays white and is hard to read.

I used my own style sheet in my Tequilas dynasty (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/for...ad.php?t=14353), you might want to take a look at that, I don't think there are the same problems.

That is indeed much easier to read for us poor sideliners...
