Baseball in the rain......

Is not as exciting as football in the rain. None-the-less, a decent game so far. I'm really not a fan of baseball, but if one of these team's has to win.... Go Marlins.....

Beckett had too good of a night to get charged with a loss here.... the Marlins need to generate so runs quick....

dola.....

If baseball had a third-place series (Red Sox vs. Cubs) would it outdraw (rating's wise) the World Series?

Yes, I'd watch every game, that's for sure.

I was going to post that same thought earlier TLK. If I didn't work with a die hard Yank fan I probably wouldn't even know who won so far.

I agree...I wasn't a fan of any of the teams in the playoffs, but the championship series were definitely must-sees. Not sure what the ratings are for the World Series, but I've found my interest in watching it lying somewhere between cleaning my ears and scab-picking.

Kind of like the Super Bowls of the early 90's, when the real must-see games were the 49'ers and Cowboys NFC Championship games.

I wouldn't watch. Who cares about 3rd place?
