2003 FOFC in-house NFL pick'em challenge, week 7
Sorry for posting this kind of late in the week, but week 7 is here, time to make some picks once again!
CLICK HERE to see the standings after week 6 Here are the very simple rules of the challenge:

Simply pick the winner against the spread for 4 games in order of your confidence.
Points will be given or taken from your season total score depending on if you picked the winner or not in your 4 games.
Game #1 is worth 4 points, #2 is worth 3 points, #3 is worth 2 points, and #4 is worth 1 point.
If a game ends in a tie with the spread, you don't win or lose any point for it.
Your picks must be posted in this thread before kickoff of the earliest of your 4 games. Failure to do so will invalidate your week of play (you will get no points).
You can start playing at any time during the course of the season.
I will usually post the results of the week (and the season so far) on Tuesday in a new thread that will include the spreads for the coming week.
I plan on taking my spreads from intertops.com. If intertops doesn't have a line for a game, I will take the average line presented on the usatoday spreads page. Once they have been posted in here, they will not change over the course of the week.
DO NOT EDIT YOUR PICKS once you have posted them in the thread. If you want to change your picks, simply post a new list of four picks in a new post with a simple mention that this is a second set of picks.
I might add more notes to this if necessary. I have not set a maximum number of players, whoever wants in can play, as long as they follow the rules and post their picks in here, following the format explained below. Here are the spreads for week 7... WEEK 7 (all times eastern) Sunday, Oct. 19 Baltimore (-2) at Cincinnati, 1:00 pm Denver at Minnesota (-3.5), 1:00 pm New England at Miami (-5.5), 1:00 pm Philadelphia at N.Y. Giants (-2.5), 1:00 pm Tennessee at Carolina (-1.5), 1:00 pm Dallas (-3) at Detroit, 1:00 pm Green Bay at St. Louis (-4), 1:00 pm New Orleans (-1.5) at Atlanta, 1:00 pm San Diego at Cleveland (-5.5), 1:00 pm N.Y. Jets (-3) at Houston, 4:05 pm Washington at Buffalo (-2.5), 4:15 pm Chicago at Seattle (-11), 4:15 pm Tampa Bay (-3.5) at San Francisco, 4:15 pm Monday, Oct. 20 Kansas City (-3.5) at Oakland, 9:00 pm Open date: Arizona, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh I think you know the drill by now. Simply post your four games below, in order of confidence. I'll post mine a little later on this week. Good luck everyone! FrogMan

Sure it's still anybody's game. That scoring system should keep it close for some time... I kind of like this Even somebody who start playing now and gets three perfect weeks in a row (tough but was done before) could get himself very close to the top... FM
