''Safest'' places during a Global Pandemic are....
Australia and, other isolated islands and communities would probably be the safest places during a global pandemic mainly due to isolation and, distances from all continents. Though I could see supply problems and, issues in smaller islands due to a lack of commerce / supply with the outside world.

Australia will be crawling with road warriors killing each other for a drop of gas. That doesn't sound safe to me.

Australia has plenty of international ports, and hosts lots of travelers.
Antarctica would be a much better choice. |

My father just got back from his second trip to Antarctica. He has many lovely pictures of penguin poop...

If there is a global pandemic, I'm heading to Euro Disney.. I don't think anyone goes there anymore.

Problem with this theory is that we now have airports so they're not isolated any more. I would rather be in some isolated mountain area that has no contact at all with the outside world.
Or western Kansas- it's just desolate and no one lives there. SI
