"Vick can't play defense"
...but the team goes 3-1 when he returns. Hmmm....those people saying this team really needed Vick back must have knew something.

No he can't play "D", however in my tiny mind he does do two very basic things for the "D".....
1. His play keeps the "D" off the field more, which means more rested players=typically better performance. 2. His presence in the game boosts the morale of the whole team("D" included) because they feel like with him there is a chance of winning. "Can" mean better play(doesn't always). Two, fairly obvious, simple-minded insights.

All you have to do is see the difference in conversion rate on 3rd down and time of possesion to see how much Vick helps a defense. Of course, people pointed that out earlier and were laughed to scorn. |

Yes, I agree that Vick helps the defense. His scrambling eats up so much more of the clock than imcomplete passes by Kittner and Johnson.
Seeing as how Vick wants to be called Michael Vick now... is there any way I can change my name to "MichaelVic"? |

They are a different team with him. Plain and simple. Vick=Falcons. I hope the next coach uses him wisely.
