FOOL-X Waikiki <--> Chicago "The Trade"
In what can only be described as a monumental moment in baseball history, Waikiki and Chicago have come to terms on a blockbuster trade sure to make waves throughout the entire sports world.
Details of the swap will be unveiled in a special 3 hour ESPN prime time slot called "The Trade". Catcher Alonso Ruiz has decided to take his glove to the Beach (Waikiki) and join the championship effort in double A. Fans of the team have already begun celebrations claiming the title before the season even gets underway. T-Pain, (a crappy hip hop artist) has even gone as far as recording a fight song for the team claiming the team has already won. To Chicago - Catcher Alonso Ruiz (AA) To Waikiki - Catcher Juan Perez (A)

Yes Waikiki fans, the most coveted catching prospect in baseball, Juan Perez is joining the organization. This is a guy who's scouting report suggests he can steal 30 bags a year.
Judging from his career minor league stats over 3 seasons, 0-6, 1 SB 1 CS and 2 runs scored, you can see why our scouts have been raving about him. We expect big things from this kid next season. Waikiki agrees to the trade. |

Amazingly not 30 seconds after this story hit the wire, the Class-A affiliate of the Waikiki Beach Boys has sold out every game this season. The Perez hype hurricane has hit Waikiki and its fixing to do some serious damage.

Oh crap, the rest of his scouting report was jammed in the fax machine. Nothing big though, it's just the page that says he is a .200 type contact hitter who swings early and often, disregarding whether the pitcher has actually thrown the ball or not. There was also something in there about a questionable work ethic. But hey, that's probably why he wanted to go to the beach.

This story continues to develop and the fight song has leaked onto the interwebs.
Here is the aforementioned fight song, although we must make a correction. It was first reported that TPain was behind the new fight song. It was actually Flo Rida. My mistake! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p07xvhY7Z4U
