Medieval: Total War
I was reading the dynasty that Anrhydeddu started in the Dynasty forum, and it got me thinking about M:TW. I bought this game as soon as it came out, as it is normally the type of game that I enjoy. I played it for a bit, but then I got hooked on another game and never got back to M:TW.
I was at a store last night and saw that VI was out. It got me thinking that I probably did not give the game a worthy go around the first time. My question is directed to those that have played M:TW. Are there any good places to go to learn some strategy about the game? I remember when I was playing it the first time that I was a bit overwhelmed and died pretty quickly! That probably did not help my interest in the game at the time...what with my small attention span and all! Any help?

Welcome back to the Medieval world. Get VI if you can, not only does it include a whole new campaign but quite a few updates to the original game.
Here is everything you would want regarding stats, guides and strategies... http://www.totalwar.org/Downloads/faq.shtml Also, the www.totalwar.org forum is the best. http://www.totalwar.org/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?;act=SF;f=7 |

I have to admit that VI might not be worth 30$ right now . Personally I will wait a while for the price to drop . Plus Rome TW is around the corner.

Enjoy Total War while you can before Rome: Total War destroys that whole concept.
