Little Green Bugs

I have got this problem with these bugs getting in my apartment. They are small green bugs. The are pretty quick flying around and they like to be near the light. They only come out at night. There is a huge amount of them on my light outside and on my window (where there is another light). These things just showed up a couple of days ago. I have killed at least 100 in my apartment.

Any clue what they are and how I can get rid of them?

Nuke 'em from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Get a basin of water, place it directly under the light. This should attract the bugs to the water and drown em.

A quick search turned up this:

If that is what they look like then you have one of many species of Leafhoppers.
