Dustin Boyd was getting old (in eligability terms). His physical attributes aren't good and he's been sitting on the Pilot Butte squad. He's an odd man out on a squad that has several good centers. Calgary saw something they liked, though.

Josh Saywell was disappointed that we traded Boyd away.

Comments: Got off to a rough start on our squad, but shined at Pilot Butte. He seems to have developed some and looks like he could be ready for the job. How gave up 10 goals in 6 Exhibition games (5-1 record)

How do you assign guys to a lower team? I like players, and i only think i can sign them and even play them or sit them...yousay you send guys to pilot butte...can you explain how to do this, since im in the WHL with Kootenay i figure we have similar things. I found tons of great players not on any chl squads when the game started at grabbed some top guys like Travis Zajac and other top draftees...but ive got too many players and dont want to cut them. Is there any way to send them to lower teams?

Should be an option on top of the actions menu on the player screen to assign player to (wherever).

Blade, what klayman said. On the Player Screen, click on the "Action" button in the upper left. The first option in the list that pops up should be "Send To (Team Name)".

Also, keep in mind that there is a limit to how many older players you can have on contract. Not sure what the limit is, but I've had the game tell me that I coudln't sign someone because I have too many overaged players.

klayman, not sure per game, but when I go to the tactics screen and click Ask Coach, he's on the 4th line. But the coach changes the tactics prior to each game and I know he's been on higher lines. He's also been put at LW fo 2 games and RW in 1. Most of his games, his playing time is around 13 minutes, but he has some games where it's up around 20.

You're allowed 3 overage players on the roster. I'm not sure if players coming back to juniors from NHL teams count against that though. Although, in my experience, the NHL won't send 20 year olds back down, even if they have another year left.

I like players, and i only think i can sign them and even play them or sit them...yousay you send guys to pilot butte...can you explain how to do this, since im in the WHL with Kootenay i figure we have similar things. I found tons of great players not on any chl squads when the game started at grabbed some top guys like Travis Zajac and other top draftees...but ive got too many players and dont want to cut them. sabotai General Manager Join Date: Oct 2000 Location: The Satellite of Love	Blade, what klayman said. On the Player Screen, click on the "Action" button in the upper left. The first option in the list that pops up should be "Send To (Team Name)". Also, keep in mind that there is a limit to how many older players you can have on contract. Not sure what the limit is, but I've had the game tell me that I coudln't sign someone because I have too many overaged players. klayman, not sure per game, but when I go to the tactics screen and click Ask Coach, he's on the 4th line. But the coach changes the tactics prior to each game and I know he's been on higher lines. He's also been put at LW fo 2 games and RW in 1.
