Computer ?

How do change what automatically loads when your computer boots up? There is some SW that I don't want to open when I boot up the computer and I figure out how to stop it. Cna anyone help??

Start -> Run -> type "MSConfig".

there's a tab called "start up" or something. remove the check mark from the program you don't want to start automatically.

http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_content.htm is a good site that shows what is "safe" to disable.

http://www.safer-networking.org/ is a site that has a program to remove spyware.
