PureSim 2005 Release 8 Goes Gold

Hey folks.

Thought I'd pass along the news that PureSim release 8 has gone gold. There are some huge customization and speed improvements, tweaks and fixes (75 in all).

You can download the trial today it has no feature limitations and lets you run the game 30 times. This is a FREE upgrade for any of you that have already purchased PureSim 2005.

Dayumm.. I'm a hop skip and a jump from Framingham (Franklin, but I work at EMC in Hopkinton, thank god for finally going back to work after a HUGE cold (or a couple bugs in a row) knocked me the fuck out.)

ANd yes, it has been a year to remember in the area, but I'm trying as hard as I can not to be one of THOSE fans again.. considering the pain being "Those fans" led me to two years ago..

*nods*

Well.. I dunno Shaun, Milford HS was filled with punks when I was growing up.. *laughs* we had one incident when I was doing announcing for Franklin HS sports where a Milford fan came out of the stands and pantsed a Franklin player as he waited to inbound a ball on the sidelines at a Franklin Basketball game. Took off, but the AD caught him a minute or two later

I'm not trying to be a dick, as I've lost track of PureSim's development over the past couple of months, but I thought the game was unrestricted shareware now. I'm not complaining about the 30-run limitation (I think it's certainly reasonable), but did I misunderstand the distribution of this game before?

No, you didn't misunderstand. Shaun changed the distribution model with Release 8. There's a discussion of it here
