Anyone else thrown for a complete loop by the random shot of the kikko-guy in bed with the chick with his arm around her boobie?

Edited to change my kikko-esque kikko-gut to the far more coherent kikko-guy.

If I have said it once I have said it four times, what the fuck is wrong with Japanese people?

Nice towel. How does this sell soy sauce, though?

Well here's a little knowledge for all of you:

1. The Japanese word for soy sauce is Shouyu ( pronounced, of course, SHOW-you ). "Show Me... Show You.. Kikkoman!"

2. When you go to a cheaper restaurant and have food take out, or if you buy a lunch box, the give you soy sauce in a little hollowed out clear plastic fish with a cap for a nose. The fish looks exactly like Kikkoman's head.

BTW, I think the chick and the cigarette are supposed to signify manzoku ( or satisfaction ). I'd have to watch it again to be sure, though.

I saw this a while back and sent it to my wife, who seems to enjoy weird Japanese pop-culture stuff.

I didn't realize that we already had a big bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce in the fridge.

Now, whenever we use it, she sings the damn song. Loudly.

I think I may have to divorce her.

nothing like a super hero that causes household pets to go suicidal and manages to sleep with girls that look 13. What a hero.
Nothing inspires the flavor of Kikkoman more than Fluffy hanging from the rafters.

Here's the tranlation (I didn't translate it):

The great hero Kikkoman!
Soy sauce makes the difference
Pour it, taste it, be amazed!
Restaurants are no mach to him
Take his blow the "Kikko-punch"!
(Eat sunny-side up with soysauce!)
Show me Show you Kikkoman Kikkoman
Show me Show you Kikkoman!
The Star of Soy has send him here
The cool guy called Kikkoman!
Try soy sauce and be healthy
Did you know that it kills germs!
Sauce? Ketchup? Nonsense!
Vanish them with "Kikko Beam"!
I said eat eggs with soysauce, idiot!
Show me Show you Kikkoman Kikkoman
Show me Show you Kikkoman!
Alright!

BTW, the cat hung himself because he was rebuked by Kikkoman. I think that the cat had neglected to use Shouyu on his food in the second cat scene ( with the eggs ). In Japan it is common to use ketchup or mayonaise on eggs.
