two ridiculous quotes from this week's issue of USA Today's pro football weekly:

Charles Rogers on his trip around NYC before the draft, including a trip to the New York Stock Exchange:

Quote:

"Ringing the gavel was a great opportunity."

and this one had me laughing for 5 minutes. Jimmy Kennedy's mother (a recovered drug addict) on his being drafted:

Quote:

"I've smoked plenty of crack cocaine, but this is the best high I've ever experienced. This is a lifetime high."

I think Jimmy Kennedy's mom has done the unthinkable... she's surpassed the Iraqi Information Minister on the Unintentional Comedy Scale.

This woman is a goldmine of QOTM material. Someone should start a website that does nothing but track her quotes in the press.
