As I don't celebrate Christmas with family, it was all within co-workers:

"Tropic Thunder" Blu-Ray
A "push" corkscrew (not sure how to correctly describe them) and a bottle of Chilean red wine
"Pushing Daisies" on DVD (though I already have it... so I had to turn around and sell it to a friend - without a gift receipt, Borders gives you nothing)
Borders Gift Card

So far I got a long-sleeve grey OU t-shirt. And I'm sure a big chunk of what I'm getting will be a (road)trip with my dad to Miami for the BCS Championship.

Watch, cologne, a couple of dress shirts, and a Wii.

The Wii was completely unexpected, but I'm excited to get it. Now I've got to purchase some good games for it.

I am sorry but I do not see the appeal of this gift, you want to brand a football team on your skin to prove your a fan? Not trying to judge or nothing just asking.

Where did I say I didn't see the appeal of a tattoo? I said I didn't see the appeal of getting a tattoo about a football team.(What his gift is) If he went the school then sure I can understand or if he played on the team. I have seen plenty of people with tattoos for their favorite team and I always wanted to ask why, hence I am asking him without trying to be condescending.

Sounds like you're gonna be one smartly dressed coach potato.

Lady H_B and I didn't do gifts, but a few weeks back I went out and bought myself a new, super-sweet gaming laptop. It's awesome. If anyone is looking for one, I'd totally recommend a Sager (I had never heard of them myself before doing research).

I got the wife a new blender. It doesn't sound that exciting but it's like the Rolls Royce of blenders. And she cooks. A lot.

More of a subdued Christmas this year all around for us, since the Wii and PS3 purchases were not all that long ago really and we got the kid a new TV/monitor after Thanksgiving and gave it to her then.

The wife got me Mirror's Edge for the PS3, along with (got this last night) some beer (a 6 pack of Great Divide's Wild Raspberry Ale, and two bottles from a brewery I haven't tried which run about $8 a bottle).

I surprised her with all three seasons of Home Movies on DVD, which she loves.

I got some stuff, but I'm worried that other gifts of mine got stolen. At least one delivery has been stolen from outside my house in the past week, and I don't know if any others have been swiped. I'm thankful for the stuff I got, but I feel bad for anyone in my family who spent money on us and the gifts got stolen. Here's hoping that they just haven't arrived yet.

Mrs. Bucc made out extremely well. Her thing is shopping at nice places so I just got her a gift card to one of our newer upscale shopping centers with lots of money on it. The stores she loves are Eddie Bauer, Coldwater Creek and Clark Shoes and we have those all at the one shopping center.

But most importantly, I was able to give quite a bit this week to our local ecumenical services to help families in need. Additionally, I'll be providing a lot of my time and goods during my vacation next week.

Other then the house, didn't really get too much this year. Just some clothes and some candy from the wife. My parents gave us a $100 gift card for Home Depot. They are going to help a ton with fixing up the new place (my dad is retired and an amazing handyman). My mother in law is getting us a washer and dryer (the HE type).

For me:
3 Asterix albums
the Rocky complete saga boxed set
$100 in cash + two $50 giftcards (one clothing store, another music/movie store) in my Christmas stockings
a pair of Simpsons boxer shorts that my 11yo son bought with his allowance. Means a lot to me.

I'm really thinking about using some of that $100 to get FM2009 from gamersgate. I'll probably save the rest to get the softcover compendium edition of Rising Stars whenever it comes out in March (if it ever comes out).

My wife also rewrapped the Sports Night complete collection she wanted to give me for my birthday but wasn't able to find locally. I ended up ordering it online fomr Amazon.ca. I laguhed about it and then she said I'd get my last gift today. No clue if that's true or not.

As with any Christmas, to see the face of my sons as they unwrapped their presents was probably my best gift.

Thanks, Big Fo. I'm hoping to spend time with my wife on it, so those games are probably ones that we'll be able to play together. She had already expressed an interest in Mario Kart.

I'm sure I'll sneak in a couple of games that are just for me, but the majority of games we'll pick up for this will be intended for the two of us to both enjoy.

Boom Blox is the game I would reccommend to you for the Wii.

Extremely fun party game.

Boom Blox was funny for me because the wife was sitting there after we got it, messing around on the computer while my daughter and I played. She had barely even touched the Wii since we got it, which surprised me a lot. I hassled her that night to try it, and after one 'puzzle' I never got the remote back over the next couple of hours.

My wife got me one of those video game chairs, which is great (and the kids think it's some sort of amusement park ride) and a pair of Reebok Colts shoes. I've been wanting those. As usual, most of the presents went to the kids, they are stocked now I think between both sets of grandparents.

My parents are retired and have nothing better to do than spend their money. From them we got a 40' Samsung LCD, a Wii, money towards a new washer/dryer set, a boatload of tools, and giftcards for Barnes & Noble and Kohl's. I also got a Home Depot gift card, jeans, a sweater, a wallet, and a work shirt and two ties.

Overall a very successful Christmas.

No biggie.. I've just wanted a Mizzou M with a tiger in the middle for quite some time now. I already have a USMC bulldog and a grim reaper, both of which I bought while I was in the Marines.. this would complete my desire for tattoos.

I'm just a huge Mizzou college sports fan.
