So which game MUST you have in 2004?
Okay…let’s take the gaming pulse of FOFC. Just for the sake of the poll, let us say that only one of these projects actually comes to fruition in 2004. Which one do you want the most?

I pick A, or maybe B, heck, I might as well pick C since there's no poll.

I will assume that FOF TCY 2 and EHM:FE are on there. I split my vote equally for each of these.

I voted for Pirates!, it was my choice from the list, but I was surprised not to see Half-Life 2.

I have to admit I'm getting excited for Everquest 2 later this year. Of course, I'll have to get a new computer before I can play it, so maybe that's what I'm actually excited about.

Is Pirates actually supposed to be out this year?
Guess I was thinking it was just getting underway and would be out much later. Rome: Total War is another one high on my list. |

Absent seeing a demo, getting feedback, etc., I don't believe there's anything I'd buy site-unseen (little $5-$10 low-risk products notwithstanding).
Interest-wise, since I can't evaluate an offering from Solecismic I know nothing about, EHM:FE would be the highest, probably followed by TEW. |

The Sims is ridiculously addicting. The Sims 2 will be insanely addicting as well, in my opinion. The fact that you can finally GROW UP in the game will be enough to make me buy it. Besides, the graphics look awesome as well.

I found a site that is hosting the DL for Pirates.. So I'm going to try it out; I'm not expecting a whole lot though. Seeing that it's getting close to 10 years old.

Since I preordered OOTP6, I guess that's my answer.
I'm about 99% certain of buying TCY2 and 90% certain about Pirates! II when and if they come out. I can't think of any other games that I'm interested in on my radar screen. |

I’m at 99.9% on TCY2, 95% on Pirates, and around 75% on Rome: Total War and EHM:FE.
But wouldn’t Front Office Colossal Sea Creature be a blast? Hmmm…there’s an outstanding Colossal Jellyfish coming out of Reykjavik Tech this year, but the colossal kelp crop generally sucks. I’ve got Colossal Squid locked up for three more years, but his shrimp-eating rating is maxed out. So I need to look whale early in the draft…

Good call, completely forgot about this one. One of my favorite games of recent years. Be anxious to see Beyond Divinity also as the first was quite a surprise. On an aside, I was reading the other day that EA just purchased the rights to make The Godfather game. What..the..hell? I just don't see how they turn that into a game, well aside from bastardizing the whole thing..which I'm sure is the route that will be taken. |

TCY2 and EHM:FE. I'm getting OOTP6 as well, but that's not the same on the excitement scale.

I guess now is a good time to announce that the first expansion for LSF is already under development. Swimsuit Fritz will see the often unaware protagonist navigate through such puzzles as the "ice cream cone at the beach with no shit running down the arm" and "hide the Hawaiian tropic girl woody." There will also be an easter egg where Fritz will tell his soontobeexwife what has been on his mind for the past 14 months.

After seeing some of the things they put in MVP, I can't wait to see what EA does with their flagship title, Madden. I'm hoping for a more expansive owner mode that uses the HDD and tracks all stats for all players ever, including existing real-life records. Maybe playable NFL Europe games. Practice squads. Etc. |
