Best way to publish a Text game??

I've been working on a game in my spare time and I was wondering what the best way to publish it would be. I'd appreciate any suggestions because I'm kind of confused about the whole process.

No doubt there are others on FOFC who can speak from experience, but the way I'd go about it would be to contact a couple of publishers who specialize in games like your own and see what they say.

I would do it through a publisher (like Wolverine Studios), that way you can work only on programming your game, letting them to do marketing, take care of distribution, licenses etc. It will save you a ton of time and headaches and you will be able to reach a wider audience.
