I'm really digging the QB with the M-16 at the end. Football needs more violence.

Um, wow. You've got to be fascinated with the Japanese interpretation of football. I love how these super-long sequences of the running back dodging and running over defenders and seemingly running half the field result in only 6 yards gained.

Interesting, but not impressed. I think Japan has the about as much chance to get a football game right as Americans do of making a realistic sumo game.
The feel of the game is way off. Plays take too long. On that first play, I thought the guy ran for about 40 yards, but it was only a 6-yard gain. Some of the controlling options look interesting, though. Edit: dawgfan beat me to it. Last edited by Godzilla Blitz : 05-22-2007 at 01:55 PM. |

That was awesome. Was it me or is that 1 big ass center?
I love the whole "Versus" idea. When they would show Player vs Player.

Why do you think it is for the Wii?
The controls look like the game was made for your typical hand held controler with all the up, down, left and right arrows popping up all over the place.

I thought the one-on-one sequences were going to result in the RB going Last Boyscout on the tackler.

I spent the first have with my jaw hanging open, in complete silence. The second half, in stitches. I promise I don't mean this in a mean or offensive way, but someone on a Front Office Football board thinking that this tripe looks fun and interesting cracks me up. Gotta admit, though, I was intrigued by #77 on the offense. The hell?

Looks pretty damn awesome to me. I don't think anyone is expecting an FOF-esque simulator out of this one, but depending on what game modes its got (presumably RPG-like), this one looks like a lot of fun.

That was enjoyable to watch. It was funny to see the running back rush for 40 yards only to have a 6 yard gain. And the QB who throws a long bomb only to see it go for less than ten yards. And what's with the announcer with the spinning hair?
I must admit I would love to try out the game though.

QB got a gun! I didn't realize that Ron Mexico was in this one.

Looks like a lot of fun. Not really understanding all the haters in the house on this one.

I can see some fun elements in it, but I think the other stuff would wear me down a bit. I'm not a hater, just thinking that the bad outweighs the potential good. I think I'd get frustrated with how long each play took. Likewise, I think those cut screens (someone vs. someone) would drive me batty after about the fifth time they displayed. Didn't seem to flow like football, either. If the controls are kind of interesting, it might pick up ground. The character building might be fun. Maybe they keep all sorts of stats on your player vs. player showdowns, which could be interesting. And Japanese sporting games often have a few "rival" players who interact with your character in an occasionally interesting story. |

If it has a shoujo aspect to it then it'd -really- rock.
