Former Olympian revealed as Vegas escort

I'm not sure this warrants its own thread but darned if I could figure out what other thread to attach it to.

Turns out that 3-time Olympic ('92, '96, '00) runner Suzy Favor Hamilton has spent the past year living a double life. By day she & her husband owned a successful real estate business in the Midwest, by some nights & weekends she was Kelly Lundy, the 3rd highest rated escort in Sin City.

Not much doubt here, TSG interviewed her & got quotes, she's pretty much owned up to the whole deal.

I'm kind of surprised the "3rd highest rated escort" (who votes on that, the AP?) in Vegas would only generate $600/hour.

That makes a lot of sense - she's probably really solid in the tangible measurables, but maybe lacking that made-up-but-convincing-enough-when-the-client-is-boozed-up-human-connection-quality that other escorts and strippers have mastered.

You all should be looking at this escort ranking system under a much more skeptical eye. I wouldn't expect any kind of impartiality from the type of person who rates escorts online. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave some of the best escorts artificially low scores in order to keep their price/demand down, much like how anonymous NFL front offices will say that a hot draft prospect has "character issues" in hopes of scaring away other teams from drafting him before their pick.
