Bill Romanowski to interview for Redskins Strength & Conditioning Job

Come on, this deserves it's own thread. Please let this happen.

Redskins interviewing Romanowski for strength coach job

Bill Romanowski once lobbied to replace Mike Shanahan in Denver. Now he might join Shanahan's staff in Washington.

Jay Glazer reports that Romanowski is interviewing in Washington to be the team's strength and conditioning coach. Seriously.

There are a ton of jokes that could be made here, but we'll leave them to the commenters.

Instead, we wonder if the league will have an opinion on the hiring of an admitted steroid user and pill enthusiast for a job that puts him in charge of the conditioning of an entire NFL team.

I'm sure he'll be full of spit and vinegar in the job interview.

Romo is a different guy now and I don't think it would be a bad hire (know I am in the minority here)

I hated him as a player and always will, but that was then.

He has done a lot of work in the nutrition field, and in speaking out on concussions and I think he has cleaned up his act.

Hell there are other guys involved in the NFL who weren't exactly saints at one time and you know he would bring intensity to the job, something sorely needed in Washington.

Met Bill Romanowski (shook his hand I should say, didn't get a chance to talk to him) at LSU's signing day party last week. No one I talked to could figure out why he was there, I guess he is job hunting?
