Bear Down! Hopefully Tuitama can light up the weakness that is the Oregon pass defense. Maybe Mike and Mark Stoops can stop the spread attack too.

Random fact: Arizona, since joining the Pac 10, has never had a quarterback drafted by the NFL.

24-11 now. It's a shame it took Arizona 4-5 games to get their new timing passing offense down or they could have been more of a factor this season.

If Leaf is running Oregon's O for the next three games they are in for a 3 game slide.

I hate Oregon just because of those uniforms. Phil Knight must donate a very large amount to use his school as a testing ground.

here's my quote from the Heisman thread we'll see what happens tonight now

I was at the game in Eugene on Saturday and it was just so frustrating seeing our D contain their WR and have a coverage sack in our grasp only to see Dixon scramble away for 14 yards.

that is really on the coaches for not playing the freshmen RB & TE who are and were clearly the superior athletes...if they would involved their FB who has great hands they would be even better, but he has suddenly gotten lost in the shuffle of what to do on O.

I know they're saying Dixon is out (with a tweaked knee ligament) but they have shown him walking around the bench area... I think there's a chance he comes back 2nd half.

Scratch that, Dixon's in street clothes. Now Leaf limping too.

Oh, Lou Holtz is insane. I love his pep-talks for their sheer absurdity. If you haven't seen any others, that was probably the most subdued and coherent one I've heard him give all year.

Terrible play by the couple guys on Arizona's punt-coverage team who gave up after getting beat on the fake punt. Terrible play by the Oregon player running straight at Cason and allowing himself to get flipped. And lastly, amazing play by Arizona to come away with that fumble. Don't want to know what went on at the bottom of that pile.

I don't get why both these teams aren't thowing deep more. Oregon's one good drive under Leaf involved a bomb down the sideline. These slip-screens are doing nothing, and the read option is getting stuffed since there's no mobile QB to draw defenders.

Tuitama got stepped on while trying a hand-off, the RB fumbled, but Tuitama's knee had touched before the hand-off.

47? yd FG now, supposedly by a good kicker. 10-pt game.

The I don't care which team you're rooting for (they've actually got most calls right in the end) I just want the players to play. At least 10 trips to the booth in the 4th Q.

Nice kick to stretch the lead to 10.

The worst part of the officiating was missing the blatant face mask (as in "Stevie Wonder saw it" blatant) then followed by the replay deal which saw the officials need to make a second trip after the reversal in order to get the spot right.

Jesus, he just threw it across the field, across his body on 3rd and 7 to a RB standing on the line of scrimmage.

JiMGA - that was the 2nd time they've had to go back to look at the spot (oregon WR stretching being the other.)

The lack of crowd control is appalling. It's a matter of time before a player is seriously injured in the melee that follows some of these games.

Students have been hurt and killed in this crap, but nothing will change until it's a player.
