Burn Notice has become definitely one of the favorite shows on the air. I can't wait for the new season!

I love this show.

But I fail to see the appeal to Anwar personally.

Last season went by way to quick. I was a late arrival to the series but I love it.

Michael's character and his inability to handle anything outside of "work" comfortably is great.

I am so excited about this show startin again! I have been waiting for months. Best show on TV right now. I am also interested in seeing the new show Royal Pains because I am a huge Mark Feuerstein fan. Thursday nights are going to have good TV for the next few months

Go to USAs site. Every episode is there. You can re-start from the very beginning.

Ummm.... yeah... fantastic show, love Michael Weston as an actor and a character, plus come on, it's Bruce Campbell baby!

Beyond that, Fiona/Anwar ruins the show and their is no two ways about it. No chemistry with Michael, has tried multiple accents and failed to pull off every one (go back to the pilot and check out the short-lived Irish one - wow). And every single time they try to sell her as a sex symbol it stretches plausibility to the breaking point. Sure, if they're in Minneapolis or even Boston maybe she'd be worth checking out in spite of her leathery skin and multiple ribs showing, but this is Miami Beach. There are 6 better looking women in every single backround shot. No security guy is going to be distracted by her.

I don't love Fi, but I still like the character.

I've only noticed the one accent from the pilot, which was god awful, but it was the pilot. They made a mistake and rightfully corrected it.

very true. they really should have gotten some smoking hot younger girl to be the fiona character. would make the show even more enjoyable too.

and i see at least one hotter woman of her age-group everyday before 2pm in Boston. at least one. a different one each day.

Fi is an IRA explosives expert and a gun runner. Are there many really hot chicks that do these types of things?

It is more that they try to present her like a 10 when she is more like a 7.5ish. Of course I'd hit that but she is nowhere near the hotness outlier they present her as.

I like Fi's character. And while I am not in awe of her looks, she has enough to keep me looking.

But do they really? I mean perhaps its a difference in assuming what they do with her, but she is presented as a hot woman who has explosive skills, not a super-duper hot amazing wow woman. She distracts men because she's pretty hot AND acts interested in them.

Bullshit. They may try and play her off as being 30, but we all know she's 35+.... Boston is fantastic for 25-35 y/o, but 35+ is pushing it haha.

I don't know if I'd say that. I think they push her off as being around Michael's age... and Jeffery Donovan (the guy playing Michael) is 41. Anwar is 39. And, obviously, Bruce Campbell is a bit older at 50.

I think they just play her off as being highly "experienced" in a way a young tart couldn't, nothing more and nothing less.

Tonight's episode was one of my favorites in a long time, and also, the previews for next week show another appearance by Jay Karnes(aka Dutch from The Shield). I loved his appearance earlier this year and cannot wait!

Great episode. Introduced a new antagonist who could go in a lot of different directions. And the main story was just a nice tight Michael, Sam, and Fi go after bad guys on behalf of good guys.

It's like they were reading the comments on this thread when they filmed it.

Strangest coincidence ever?

The actor that played the client in this week's episode(the crazy/neurotic/genius/alien guy, one of my favorite guest stars ever for sure) is named Michael Weston:

Michael Weston (I)

Wow. I thought he was absolutely unbearable--like I wanted to skip ahead every time he came on screen. Other than that it was a good episode.

I was afraid that they were going to run a FI is pregnant storyline a few weeks ago. Moreso cause women of anwars age are at a high risk of birth defects.

Hell of a season finale. I presumed he wouldn't get back in of course, but I didn't see it blowing up on him the way it did as far as the Fiona-napping and then especially the killing of Strickler. That definately had me jolted straight up in my seat.

Looks like by doing that he's put himself in a world of trouble though.

I've never been much of a TV watcher but I love Burn Notice. Good storylines and really good characters, for the most part. It also reminds me a bit of an RPG that I used to play called Millenium's End, coincidentally set in Miami. I had a lot of fun GMing that world, and often thought of writing a teleplay based on it. Well, they are cloning vampire shows thanks to True Blood, so why not a Burn Notice clone?

Look USA, I've made the decision to tolerate Fi and keep watching the show, but please stop teasing me and showing her "die" every promo and/or "leave" every episode. Loved seeing the horrific Irish accent come back though, that was good for a laugh.

Great season finale. The bad guy had my name. That was exciting and really fun. I felt like I was in the show

At least Fis accent was finally explained away.

I cannot wait until the Winter season.

The August 6 mid-season finale of Burn Notice drew 9.1 million viewers, per live-plus-seven-day data, making it the most-watched program in USA history, and the biggest scripted draw of the season!

So I take that as a good thing.
