Hold 'em humliation

Just got routed in about 30 mins by my 7 y/o.

Okay, it's Yahtzee Hold 'Em (on sale for $10 at Wal-Mart earlier this weekend, I figured WTH).

But still ... that's just humiliating. I won only 3 "hands" and I strongly suspect he was sandbagging just to keep me playing on at least one of those. Meanwhile, the worst/best moment had to be on about the 3rd hand, stacks are probably 55-45 in his favor at that point, I fold 2 pair when he raises hard after the flop. After he's collected, he looks across, looks me right in the eye & says "I was bluffin', you should have stayed".

Not bad for a kid whose only HE experience comes from watching a few hands occasionally on TV & playing some on a former employee's cell phone.

From boardgamegeeks:

Quote:
Each player blind draws two dice from the bag and places them in his cup and shakes (his secret “pocket” dice), and they ante and bet based on their pocket dice. Then three more “community” dice are drawn and rolled (the “flop”), then a fourth (the “turn”), and a fifth (the “river”), with two betting rounds (of check, bet, call, call & raise, fold, and all-in options) in between each draw. Dice combinations are similar to their poker counterparts and can give players; two pair, three of a kind, full house, straight, four of a kind, flush, Yahtzee (five dice of the same number in different suits), straight flush, and the “Yahtzee Flush” – five dice of the same number and suit (color), that automatically wins a player the game.
