So, Fruit Loops and Apple Jacks people, how do you deal with the scratches on the top of your mouth?

A young boy stares up from his bed, his angry and disappointed father looms overhead demanding to know how this feels.

"Like you dad, I feel like you do when you eat Cap'n Crunch!"

As a 39-year-old who eats Frosted Flakes 2 out of every 3 days I'm confused as to why these are being labeled "children's" cereals.

Labels aside, the answer is:

Frosted Flakes
Sugar Crisp
Honey Nut Cheerios
Alpha-Bits (dry)

Interesting ...

I'm going to be provocative and say there is only one spot open for debate. Lucky Charms, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Frosted Flakes are stone-cold locks for both popularity and historical significance (Frosted Flakes has waned in recent years, but it was a giant and a pioneer back in the day. I hate to include it, but feel I have to).

As for #4, my personal fave is a legit contender: Crunchberries. And I understand the fanaticism that surrounds Cinnamon Toast Crunch. But as much as those are crowd favorites ... I think #4 has to be Fruit Loops.

Now, debate away...

But if you mix Rumchata and Fireball Whiskey, you can eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch and wash it down with a drink that tastes just like it!

Silly FOFC, Trix are for kids!

I'm not saying I like them, but Trix has not been mentioned once?

Trix
Frosted Flakes
Lucky Charms
Captain Crunch

Not necessarily my favorites, but when I was younger, these were the cereals. Smacks was also up there, but I cannot remember the last time I saw a box of those.

Same as what everyone else has said...

Fruity Pebbles
Capt'n Crunch Berries
Frosted Flakes
Cinnamon Toast Crunch / Golden Grahams

Could have gone with Life cereal, but Mikey don't like it, he don't!
