Sharing Photos Online
What tool/website do you use to share your pictures with family & friends that don't live near you? I face a dilemma each time on whether to send the raw jpeg files via EMail, set up some type of website slideshow, or other options in between. The family members we send to are all over the range of computer literacy.
I would like the simplest solution that doesn't involve having all recipients "sign up" or join some site. I don't mind doing that as part of the initial setup, but I would rather not have Grandmom try to figure out how to create an account of her own. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions! Cheers... |

I love Picasa. It's really easy to upload the pictures and you can share links to folders or individual pictures. As long as you allow it, they can view the pictures without any sign up needed.

You don't have to sign up to view pictures on flickr.com or google's picasaweb, just give 'em the link and they're good to go. If you're gonna upload a whole bunch of pics though, you might have to sign up for the pro account and pay a little bit for it.. at least you do for flickr.
