War Hits Close To Home
A kid who is a graduate of one of the high schools where I do Young Life was a member of the 507th Maintenance Company that was ambushed. He didn't make it.
I didn't know Jamaal personally, but I know several former club kids from LHS who did know him. Remember to pray for his wife and children, as well as the loved ones of all of our fallen. --Ben

He has my prayers.
I don't mean to pry, but is that a picture of his son? If so, what a handsome little guy. He also gets my prayers. When he's old enough to understand, I hope he grasps what a hero his father was. I also pray he and all children never again see this type of violence. |
