Are you planning to buy Madden 2010 and/or NCAA 2010?

Where are you at right now?

99% on NCAA because of the fun I've had with the FOFC Dynasty and probably not Madden.

No, will wait a couple weeks to see what the issues are. Feels like most sports games are unplayable till the first patch anyway.

Currently? No. That said, if it gets rave reviews I might change my mind.

NCAA 2010 for sure... Madden probably a wait and see, but I do like what I've been reading and seeing thus far.

No.

I haven't bought a Madden since 06. I'll buy a college game, but I'm usually a year behind.

Definitely getting NCAA, possibly getting Madden but it's kinda sad that i'm only interested on them because the superstar modes as i can't feel that the franchise/dynasty modes are deep enough.

Madden is a buy for me at this point based on the significant number of improvements that seem legit, and we haven't even gotten the franchise blog yet. With the Head Coach developer on this team, I'm hopeful that franchise will be significantly improved in regards to stats and logic. Also, the weekly presentation show is intriguing.

I'm leaning towards NCAA as well due to the fun I've had with NOFL/RFL, but I need to see more gameplay improvements there.

I might get NCAA to get involved in the online dynasties. Although a Madden online leage would probably kill that.

I'll probably get Madden if I don't get NCAA, since it's more advanced on the game engine and they seem to be paying attention to some key gripes.

Yes on college, no on Madden.

Whether I end up playing is iffy but that's how the purchasing will go for my son so I figured I'd answer.

I might get NCAA, but will wait for impressions first--been screwed too many times by what EA considers a football game the last couple of years. I like what I'm hearing about the return of create-a-team and the ability to use it for online dynasties, but ultimately the gameplay still needs to improve.

Definitely on NCAA, to play more online dynasty and in the hope they finally generated a pass rush from somewhere.

Madden will have to be a hell of an improvement for me to even consider it, but if it is, I'll probably break down and buy it.

I gave up on Madden a few years ago, but have kept buying NCAA but I don't think I will this year, as I only got about a week of fun out of it before the sheen wore off and I realized that I actually enjoy playing just about any other sport video game infinitely more than any (current) football game, despite the fact that I have no interest in any sport outside of football in reality. I've played NHL 09, FIFA 09, Fight Night, and Skate 1 & 2, plenty o' times over the last 6 months, and I literally haven't picked up NCAA once, despite the fact that it was kinda-sorta fun. I think the last piece of the puzzle dropped when I tried to trade it on Goozex.....I put it on offer about 5 months ago, and there's still 40+ people in front of me also trying to get rid of it...and I finally thought "maybe I shouldn't buy it this year."

Anybody else think they could make Madden/NCAA twice as enjoyable in an instant, simply by removing the 'sprint/turbo' button (or hardcoding some sort of sprint when the player has an open field)? Maybe that's something they've addressed this year for all I know, I gave up following the logs. The computer has never been effective at turboing, whereas 99% of the human players in the world white-knuckle the 'sprint' button as soon as the ball is hiked, regardless of the play, and either game is still pretty much an exercise in getting the ball to the player with the highest speed and pressing turbo. Lord knows anything that would reduce EA football's reliance on the almighty SPD rating could only be a good thing. Simply getting rid of the 'sprint' button, and double the distance of the 'virtual yard', and I think Madden/NCAA would be instantly better.

Considering I just joined an FOFC online dynasty, NCAA is more likely than Madden. But since I have SEVERAL gripes with this year's Madden, I might be more inclined to get 2010 if it improves the running game at least.

If I get them, I'll get both because I love importing draft classes. If I pass, I'll pass on both and play 09 until 2011.

The Madden folks really seem serious this year. From everything I have seen on NCAA I am just getting a real been there, done that kind of feeling. If Madden were to announce online dynasty I think that would be the absolute dagger for NCAA this year.

Custom conferences and create-a-team on the internet means yeah. I've always loved NCAA more than Madden and so, NCAA for sure...I haven't bought it since '06 because I just don't play console games that much, but my brother gave me his PS3, so I will probably get it when it comes out.

NCAA was fun last year, but I'm a bit worn out on the series and also getting the been there done that feeling.

Madden has a chance to sway me towards a purchase with the improvements being touted. If the rumored online feature that is being added is solid, it might be enough.

As long as NCAA doesn't have any gamebreaking bugs (last year's was the first one in several years that didn't), then I will buy that day-one to play the FOFC online dynasties.

I haven't purchased Madden since the Genesis days. This looks like one I'll at least have to rent. It's so hard for me to give EA my money (which is getting harder & harder since they publish so many games).
