Ping: GTA3 (PS2) Owners
I just recently finished up Vice City (100%, no cheat codes!), so I was wondering if GTA3 would be worth the $20 pricetag at amazon.com?
I assume it is not as good as Vice City, but does it come close? Thanks!

Good going. I have GTA3 and wondered if Vice City was worth it. For what it's worth, GTA3 is a great game and well worth the $20, imo (heck, at $50 the game was worth it to me).... although I can't compare it to Vice City yet.
I just recieved a $50 kickback from a friend, not sure if I want Gallop Racer 2003, Vice City, or preorder Madden 2004? Todd |

If you really enjoyed GTA VC, then yes, go ahead and drop the $20 on GTA3. As long as your expectations are realistic (it's a step down from the latest version) you'll still enjoy it.

I actually like GTA3 better than Vice City. The Helicopters and Motorcycles were great in Vice City, but I like the city itself better in GTA3. The buildings all look different and the terrain is varied. I found a lot more places to do stupid little tricks as well.

Thanks guy. I will probably pick this up.
For $20, it is like a 'grand theft'

Yes, that was specifically done with you in mind, Kodos.
Ack! Your bad-joke disease is catchy! Next thing you know I'll be starting a poll. *slitting wrists*

I would have left this board long ago if not for the continuing opportunities to annoy Marmel.

Nice. Out of all of your posts, this is the first one that was actually helpful to somebody.

I am the master of the typo. In fact, 2 of my QOTM are actually typos.
