Late Round Gems
I was looking around at low-round draftees who have been success or have lots of talent.
Here's the list of guys I ran across using the Draft History tool in OOTPOU P R.J. Musumeci (1857, 3.6 drafted by St. Louis) OF Chris Bush (1848, 3.7 drafted by Winnemucca) P Javon Wallace (1855, 3.1 drafted by Winnemucca) C Jimmy Arbogast (1853, 3.7 drafted by Winnemucca) P Chris Ricardo (1856, 3.2 drafted by Washington) P Javier Macias (1845, 5.2 drafted by San Diego) P Plinio Rodeiro (1851, 4.3 drafted by Rio Grande) P Dusty Harrison (1843, 3.6 drafted by Rio Grande) C Dave Chieffo (1853, 3.4 drafted by Rio Grande) DH Chaz Joines (1855, 3.5 drafted by Lake Tahoe) P Jae Lee (1858, 3.5 drafted by Columbus) P Jordan Santiago (1853, 4.3 drafted by Chicago) P Dave Grieco (1853, 3.3. drafted by Chicago) P Pat Davies (1853, 6.5 drafted by Carolina) P José Cruz (1847, 4.8 drafted by Carolina) P Dave Rosario (1854, 3.8 drafted by Brooklyn) So draft classes aren't as deep as I'd like them to be, based on this data here. I'll work on improving that for us in future years...though the trick is that we don't have all-stars coming out of every class in perpetuity. A lot of the best gems came before the STREP era. I think FFP probably screws this up some too. But FFP is good for the game, the draft will just need to get better and it will, because I've already aged prospects so fewer will be eligible for FFP anyway. draft question?
What's the best way to handle the draft?
Should I just make a list and copy that to all my draft picks, just want to make sure I do it right come draft day. Thanks

Yeah, the best way would be to just make one list and copy it to all rounds. Some people do 40 players or so, some do more. A few don't bother at all, I suspect. |

Do what Wolvie does. Let the computer pick for you. Especially when you have the #1 overall pick.
