NE Oklahoma Sidekicks - Season 19 - V.111
I started to do this at the beginning of the season and I just didn't have time after I had started it. So here are your NE Oklahoma Sidekicks!
We are currently 1st in V.111 and things are only going to get easier as the #2 team and my only real competition has been locked out since May 29th when I found that he was cheating. Basic team info: NE Oklahoma Sidekicks (71068) Country: USA Region: Oklahoma Arena: The Slaughter House Language: English Series: # 1 in V.111 Fan club: Sidekicks United Training: Playmaking @ 100% Cash funds: -155 606 US$ (-214 691) US$ Sponsors: high on life Supporter Club: 1032 members Supporters: high on life I just started daytrading so I'm always around -$200,000 Here are my recent transactions: 5/17/2003 Bought Bruno Pedrosa from ISCAL club 4 000 US$ (16 000 US$) 5/17/2003 Bought Dwi Hariyanto from Omong Sakti 31 000 US$ (30 000 US$) 5/15/2003 Sold Christos Kladogenis to Real Club Social 45 000 US$ (40 000 US$) 5/12/2003 Bought Christos Kladogenis from nymans bk 11 000 US$ (40 000 US$) I listed Bruno for $25,000 Monday and Dwi will end his time on the transfer list Tuesday afternoon. He is going for $35,000. I don't daytrade just for the money, I do it partially to keep myself fully entertained with Hattrick all of the time. And as you can see, it's not like I massively daytrade. Here's my current standings: 1. NE Oklahoma Sidekicks 7 31 - 6 18 2. Man U Wannabes 7 30 - 8 16 (Inactive) 3. RN United 7 25 - 9 13 4. Kandy Kanez 7 16 - 4 13 5. Virginia Vipers 7 4 - 29 0 (Inactive) Our only loss came to RN United and that was when we were still in the Cup. We played our B team midfield and got killed 0-4. In our last match we played Kandy kanez on the road and beat them 2-0. We missed 2 or 3 chances to score though. I forgot to mention that the Sidekicks run a symmetrical 3-5-2 and play with only one true winger as the other is moved "towards the middle" (I just started this due to Billy's advice.} We also put our wingback offensive on the side that we don't have a true winger. The true winger is set offensively and everyone is on normal.

I'm actually very pleased with our performance. Thanks to the Plowboys for a great match in which neither team could seem to get the ball in the net. |

Training Results
Form Changes Great week for form as 6 players went up, and only 2 went down. Notables: Solid Keeper, Admir Podbog, is back to excellent form. Mats Vikin, passable defender, jumped from poor form to inadequate. We purchased him in wretched form, so this is nice to see. Skill Jumps 18 yo midfielder, Ulrik Dehllind, bumped up to passable playmaking this week. His stats are now the following; Ulrik Dehllind 52 000 US$, 18 years, passable form Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities Stamina: inadequate Keeper: disastrous Playmaking: passable Passing: poor Winger: poor Defending: inadequate Scoring: weak Set Pieces: weak He gets 2 stars in inadequate form, so we'll see what he can do in passable now this week. Once we train stamina in the offseason, and get his up to solid or so, he will be a 2.5 star player for sure and maybe even a 3 star player. Youth Pull The Hattrick gods show how cruel they can be: Jasper Conklin (12182196) 19 years, passable form, healthy A popular guy who is balanced and honest. Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities. Nationality: USA Assessed value: 159 000 US$ Wage: 1 360 US$/week Owner: NE Oklahoma Sidekicks Warnings: 0 Stamina: disastrous Goaltending: inadequate Playmaking: disastrous Passing: disastrous Winger: disastrous Defending: wretched Scoring: disastrous Set Pieces: disastrous So I will lose 50 - 70K because it seems he missed a day of practice with his youth squad. |

League Match - 5/25/03
NE Oklahoma Sidekicks - Kandy Kanez
Preview Last week, we narrowly defeated the Kanez, 2-0. They put up good defensive ratings, but their offensive ratings were "weak" across the board. Like I said, their defensive ratings were good... except on the right side, where they posted an "inadequate" rating. We had an "excellent" attack rating, but of course, it was on the wrong side. We decided to take advantage of that this week. And did we ever. Date: 5/26/2003 at 01:00 MatchID: 5547157 Arena: The Slaughter House Crowd: 22926 A scorching day at The Slaughter House, where 22926 spectators were in place for today´s match. Sidekicks tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Lineup: Podboj - Johnson, Alonso, Thompson - Issjö, Andersson, Stensson, Anduaga, Needham - Perez, Hariyanto. Kandy had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Gilliland - Lance, Suggs, Christiaens - Halsted, Molina, Littlejohn, Munoz, Staley - Slone, Sharp. Keith Perez gave his Sidekicks the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. 1 - 0 Sidekicks A speedy charge from the left side of the field put Sidekicks lead up with 2 - 0. Alanzo Anduaga finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. 2 - 0 Sidekicks In the 35:th minute of the match the visitors central line of defence had to look on as Keith Perez dashed through, knocking home 3 - 0 for Sidekicks. 3 - 0 Sidekicks A whole minute later... In the 36:th minute of the match the visitors central line of defence had to look on as Palmer Needham dashed through, knocking home 4 - 0 for Sidekicks. 4 - 0 Sidekicks The teams went for a half-time break at 4 - 0. Sidekicks, bringing the final ball possession rate to 64 percent, dominated the battle. HALFTIME 4 - 0 Sidekicks Kandy reduced in the 50:th minute to 4 - 1 as Danny Slone easily chipped the ball past the home sides keeper on a play from the right. 4 - 1 Sidekicks Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Göran Andersson squirmed himself through the central defense line in the 72nd minute, asserting the lead to 5 - 1. 5 - 1 Sidekicks In the 79:th minute Byron Johnson put Sidekicks ahead 6 - 1 with a truly marvelous free kick. 6 - 1 Sidekicks Sidekicks held the ball, with a clear 78 percent possession rate. END OF MATCH NE Oklahoma Sidekicks - Kandy Kanez 6 - 1 I couldn't have asked for more, so definitely no complaining from me this week. NE Oklahoma Sidekicks Player rating and Team formation Midfield: passable (3rd time at passable) Right Side Defence: solid Central Defence: solid Left Side Defence: passable Right Side Attack: inadequate (We are w/o a 2.5 star striker) Central Attack: passable Left Side Attack: excellent (Best ever attack from the left) Kandy Kanez Player rating and Team formation Midfield: poor Right Side Defence: inadequate Central Defence: excellent Left Side Defence: excellent Right Side Attack: weak ------ Central Attack: weak -----------> Same as last week Left Side Attack: weak ------- Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think their ratings changed one bit from last week. We managed a 57 on the NSI which is our 2nd best all-time and best when not MOTSing. So a big congrats goes to the team for this accomplishment. Our goal is a solid midfield and a 63 NSI rating by the end of the year/next season. Time to hand out some shiny stars: Player Ratings Admir Podboj - 3.5 Byron Johnson - 2.5 Miguel Alonso - 2 Donald Thompson - 2 Palmer Needham - 2.5 Ola Issjö - 2 (Wing moved towards the middle) Alanzo Anduaga - 2.5 Göran Andersson - 3.5 First 3.5 for a Sidekick player not named Admir the Keeper. Conny Stensson - 2.5 Dwi Hariyanto 1.5 Keith Perez 2 The nice attendance netted us $119,468. This was very needed as we were at -$273,000 before the match. We will now go back to -$200,000 by finding a 17 yo passable middie to train. THe current economic situation: Economy Cash funds: -215 346 US$ (-151 549) US$ Sponsors: high on life Supporter Club: 1056 members (Gained 12 after the match) Supporters: high on life V.111 is shaping up to be a breeze for your local Sidekicks. Ok then, we'll go with 3-1 Sidekicks.
Morrisville is virtually shut down by the tough 1 star defense of the Sidekicks. |
