What's going on for everyone this weekend?

I'm pumped for the weekend.....

Friday- Alkaline Trio in Pontiac
Saturday- Alkaline Trio in Cleveland
Sunday- Alkaline Trio in Buffalo

I've never attempted anything like this, but it is almost guaranteed to be a good time. I just hope I survive the weekend....

well i hope you have a good time. Be sure to let us know how the shows go. I'm not sure what kind of venues these shows are at, but stick around before and after the show, chances are you'll get to meet the guys and talk with them a bit. Maybe you can even bum a ride with them to the next city. that would be cool. Roadie for a weekend! Just offer to buy the beers and you'll be all set

My girlfriend took me wave running for my birthday last friday, and we had a blast. Of course, lakes do freak me out, too many dead bodies somewhere in there...

But we still had a great time...

Back off buddy, I'm from the desert. I didn't have to deal with bodies of water much growing up, so wave runners are just fine for me...

Not going to an NFL Europe game like last weekend (boy, 7 incomplete TD passes in 30 seconds playing time!) because
A - the Admirals play on the road
B - I have to finish a report for school, wich should have been finished 3 weeks ago

Saturday afternoon : watch Rugby European Final : Toulouse-Perpignan (yep, both are French teams, no English bastards or bully Irish team this year )

Will watch the next to last French League 1 matches on TV Saturday evening. Maybe Bordeaux (my team) still has a little chance of getting the last Champions League seat.

Cuervo...awesome! Are you having the party this weekend? What did you get her? I'm trying to decide on something meaningful, and maybe something I can give her every year. Did you do something like that?

WOOHOO!!!

I'm off again to Amsterdam for the week. My first trip was back in January, but I was too jetlagged to properly enjoy.

Just let me say, anything you may have heard about Amsterdam, it's ALL true. The place is incredible. The red-light district is just considered an accepted part of town. The area, believe it or not, is a residential area. The girls in the window and the "coffee bars" are just considered other business in the area, to go along with the restaurants and such.

Sachmo, cute kid! Congrats. And remember, she can't legally have a margarita until she's 21. Twenty-one. That's twenty years from now.

As for me, I've got about 24 hours of work to squeeze in, 2 acres of grass to mow, and oh, I'm watching 7 of our 8 kids because my wife is speaking at a mother-daughter banquet in Chicago.

Oy, do I have to get off line and get back to work.

Everyone's watching, to see what you will do
Everyone's looking at you, oh
Everyone's wondering, will you come out tonight
Everyone's trying to get it right, get it right

Everybody's working for the weekend
Everybody wants a little romance
Everybody's goin' off the deep end
Everybody needs a second chance, oh
You want a piece of my heart
You better start from start
You wanna be in the show
Come on baby lets go

Everyone's looking to see if it was you
Everyone wants you to come through
Everyone's hoping it'll all work out
Everyone's waiting they're holding out

Everybody's working for the weekend
Everybody wants a little romance
Everybody's goin' off the deep end
Everybody needs a second chance, oh
You want a piece of my heart
You better start from start
You wanna be in the show

It looks like the Matrix 2 may not happen (some people busy with some band stuff), though you definately don't want my Sunday. I'm right on the border of WI-MN, and all liquor store in Minnesota are closed on Sunday. Even worse, I'm working right off the highway from the Twin Cities into Wisconsin, so it's gonna be a pretty busy 8 hours.

I watched the Pistons game tonight, then was going to go out but will probably just take it easy now. Tomorrow night I have to work at a local dance club for the radio station I work for, then Sunday I will hopefully be going to game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals
