rosters resetting
I just started an online league, and some of the participants have been complaining that when they sign someone, or I put in the trades before the sim, their roster changes reset... anyway to prevent that?

Are you doing mid-week stages or simply one stage per week? A mid-week comes in handy as it allows people to sign folks and readjust their rosters and depth charts without having to worry about the AI adjusting things...

only one stage per game.... two stages is an interesting idea, but I rather keep it as is... so there's no way to stop the AI from re-adjusting everything after a trade?

Edit: To clarify, the scout adjusts rosters when the games are simmed. So the AI won't adjust until you actually sim the week. But transactions are handled on import, so if you import and immediately export, people will have their adjusted rosters and can then tweak them for the game sim.

ok.... but... if the depth charts and everything are filled properly even after a release or signing or trade, the coaching AI won't mess with anything will it? So Gm's could adjust for themselves if they have a trade pending or signing/release pending right?

No, you have to do 2 stages for each week. One for everyone to 100% lock down their rosters, and then the next day for the game. You cant sign/cut/trade for anyone on game day, or it will fuck up your export...thats just the design decision on the game. IT sucks, but you gotta deal with it. |

I glanced at this thread and thought it said "Roosters Resetting"...I did a double take and realized it had to do with that silly football game you all play
