Nothing against the guy personally, but I can only hope they follow up appropriately in the strip and have all of them die horribly.

The Rutgers newspaper used to publish one of those Family Circus parody comics daily (originated elsewhere), where the art would stay the same but the caption would change to something extremely inappropriate. Would love to remember what it was called, it was awesome.

I devoured the compilation books of these we had around my house when I was a little kid. I don't think they were really supposed to be "funny", they're more a throwback to a day when there was some idea that kids were supposed to be exposed to positive, family value-type stuff.

This means that Bart will finally move out of the house and give Homer some space.

I always enjoyed the Pearls Before Swine strips where they met the Family Circus.

If we're going to do this, let's at least be highbrow about it.

Pearls Before Swine (my favorite strip) does it far better than Scott, which I thought was lame.

I loved the one where the Crocs got Jeffy. Those and the ones with the 50 year old Family Circus kids.

I find Family Circus more funny than any of the parodies listed here (Tho the Nietzsche one is creative, at least)
