College Football Week 10 thread (spoilers inside)
Fresno State at the smurf turf on ESPN 2.
And in Hawaii football news, ESPN 2 will be televising the game against Oregon State.

Punt return for Fresno State gives them the lead. Nice nice. I love college football. Who cares about these teams really? And blue turf? Doesn't even matter. A blast to watch.

I really didn't think Fresno would be this bad this year.
Excited for tonight's game, hoping for a nailbiter.

WVU by at least 21 points. I just don't see it being much of a game. I think it's going to be OSU-WVU in the title game.

If that RB hadn't fallen down, that was almost certainly a touchdown, or at least another 25 yards.

That missed sack on third down is going to end up being a big factor in this game.

Fun game so far but it's amazing how bad each teams defense is.

I wonder if these two teams can learn to tackle before the NC.

I hate to keep harping on it .. But god damn on the last three plays Louisville has missed at least 10 tackles.

I think, Ohio State withstanding, you're looking at the two best offenses in college football.

Maybe but the two defenses are making the other offenses look amazing. Some of the runs have been great but I'm seeing a lot of arm tackling. Guys are in awful position. It's just ugly defense in my opinion. |

Yeah a lot of it is Louisville, but in the same regard, WVU's secondary is a mess. They don't adjust to the ball and let these WR get lots of seperation. The talent just isn't there on D for either team. |

I don't get Louisville on this goal line possession. Why not take a shot at the endzone? WVU has proven they can't cover these WR.

It would seem like a good idea to throw it up to Urrutia, but... apparently they decided to go another direction. There still is 4th down though.

Some painful playcalling in the red zone by Louisville there.

I'm truly amazed it's only 16-14 right now considering each possession you know you're going into the other teams territory.
And as I type this Louisville AGAIN lets Slaton go through their arms. |

Jeez... what a fumble fest! Both sides lose the ball after big gains!

This is really turning into an ugly game. No one can hold onto the ball. The defenses are playing terribly. I'm not impressed at all with either team at this point.

Blech. OSU and UM would whoop both these teams.

This is awful in a way for the Big East. Neither team has looked impressive and the voters (though we all know they don't watch a lot of games) will probably keep that in mind and that'll pay dividence for the NC.

YIKES... Slaton lost strength in the forearm? Well, that would explain some of the fumbles I guess.

How did WVU get to be 7-0 with a QB that looks pretty bad tonight?
