OOTP League (UBL) needs 1 or 2
The United Baseball League currently has 1 definite and maybe another pending opening. We are in 2026, going for 23 seasons and 3-4 calendar years. We haven't had an opening in a few seasons, so this is the chance to get into an active league. We are currently in the playoffs and the Angels are open. This team had some prior glory but has fallen by the wayside. The possess a stud in he who shall not be named but is more fragile than ARod's marriage and the 7th best farm system. They are great financially and the AL West has been down the past few seasons.
The UBL has a 100M cap, FA compensation, 8/4 no-trade clauses, active owners, and will hopefully someday return the EuroLeague. If you are interested in the Angels (or another potential team) PM me so I can get you set up with forum access (closed to new visitors for now). Check out the league and forums if you need some convincing. We are most likely switching to v2009 in the offseason, so updated game ownership is required.

Yeah, miked runs a really good league. There are quite a few FOFCers in the league, as well as some other, well how should it be put, interesting characters.
I'm a perennial cellar dweller, so not much of a threat to your team if you join. For some reason OOTP considers Phoenix, the 5th largest city in the country, as a small market, so I'm always cash strapped.

I thought I was in this league briefly but dropped out thanks to a stalker. If it's the one I was in, it was definitely a well-run league.
If it's not, then I'd defer to cartman on its quality. |

Also, in case you're wondering if the previous owner screwed them up too much...the once destroyed Yankees franchise (by an unnamed FOFCer) was just returned to glory, so anything is possible. The Angels won the first ever UBL World Series in 2003 and have yet to make a return! Be the one who brings them back.
