And hopefully not for TCY2

It's the right call for how I like to play these games, but I do think there are a sizable number of folks that play games like NCAA 14 for head to head matchups and want those real players in there.

That said, it's easy enough set those games up to make them easy to edit the databases, plant some info in the fan forums about how to edit them and rely on the mod community to do the rest.

The biggest reason I haven't done TCY2 (and may never) is the dozens of things I've added to FOF over the years that would have be to done in a manner compatible with the TCY base that, if not added, would result in many complaining that TCY is a real step back.

I think if people looked at FOF1, they'd be surprised at how small it is in comparison to today. And TCY is a first-generation product.

Every time I think about TCY2, I get a little down about the future. I'd like to have a more modern TCY, but I don't think the community would accept what it would have to be.

Ah, bummer. Makes sense, but there's a real void out there. No offense to Arlie, but I never really got into BBCF and was hoping a TCY2 might happen. But I appreciate your candor, and better to not get our hopes up.

AND tossed out the $5k pay thing.

Key Points Of 9th Circuit Court's Ruling

• Federal appeals court agrees that NCAA's rules restricting payments to athletes violate antitrust laws.

• But appeals court says the lower court erred when it agreed to allow college athletes to be paid up to $5,000 a year in deferred compensation.

• Ruling says NCAA is not required to permit its schools to provide more than the cost of attendance to athletes.
