With the sixty eighty pick..
.. With the 68th pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select DT from Oklahoma, Mike Ritschel!
My analysis: Another steal if he developes. He could get 10 sacks a year with his speed and strength. 3.5 Buffalo Bills - NT Mike Ritschel, Oklahoma |

Colton Mayes and Baltimore come to terms
Second overall pick Colton Mayes and the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms today on a 5 year deal worth 31.6 million, with a 20.1 million dollar signing bonus. Mayes has all the potential in the world, and is expected to ride the pine his first year to allow him time to develope.

Colton Mayes is going to be #2 on the Ravens depth chart, and of their 4 QBs, is the only one with over 1 year on their contract. Boller is going to be gone after this year and then Mayes is going to be the man.
Mike Ritschel is going to a 4-3 and will be playing RDT backing up a third year guy. Ritschel is almost as good as him already and I expect him to start sooner then later. Travis Elkin is the third MLB for the Texans 4-3 scheme, but again, he will be main backup as the year goes on, and probably starting next year. Rob Nielsen is the Lions second best WR, but will be slot man for now unless he gets moved to SE. He's backing up Roy Williams who is coming off a first team All Pro year, so Flanker will not be is this year. Al Mighty is rated a 63, LT a 66 so expect Mighty to be the man very soon as LT keeps regressing. |

Ha. Colton Mayes and Rob Nielsen are both one injury away from being the guys on each of their teams. Remember this.
