FBCB Interactive Dynasty- Season 2 (2010-2011)

We start season 2 by taking a look at how our recruits teams finished the 2009-2010 season.

Michigan St. (Will Brown)

The Spartans finished the season ranked 5th in the nation, having a 31-7 record and going 13-5 in the Big Ten. Unfortunately their postseason success was limited, as they lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Kansas (Jace Hunter)

The Jayhawks finished the season ranked 14th, going 27-9 and 11-5 in the big Twelve conference. They managed to make it all the way to the Elite Eight.

Illinois (Mike Schaplowsky)

The Fighting Illini will benefit from having a 5 star point guard in Schaplowsky, as last season had mixed results. Illinois finished 25-13 overall, and 11-7 in the Big Ten. They will also be coming off the momentum of winning the CBI tournament.

Clemson (Kuji Chagulia)

The Tigers finished 26-11 overall, but only 9-7 in the ACC. They did manage to make it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, but a loss there ended the season.

San Diego St. (Tom Steele)

San Diego St. finished the season ranked 25th. They had a nice record of 28-6 overall, and 12-4 in a tough Mountain West Conference. Unfortunately this did not translate to postseason success, as they lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Temple (Dave O'Shea)

The Owls finished the season 27-9 overall, and 12-4 in the Atlantic Ten. They also lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

As far as recruiting rankings go:

Michigan St. had the #1 recruiting class. Illinois had the #3 ranked recruiting class. Kansas was #7, Clemson was #10, and San Diego St. was #53, and Temple was #103.

C Eric Anderson- It looks like Eric has decided he wants to play in the SEC, as his top 4 schools are Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi St., and Vanderbilt. Michigan St. rounds out the top 5.

SG Jason McDowell- Washington appears to be the front runner for Jason, as they've already offered him a scholarship. Kansas, Gonzaga, Oregon, and BYU round out the top 5.

C Deacon Palmer- Some surprise schools in the mix for Deacon, as LSU and South Alabama have offered scholarships. Other schools in the top 5 include Houston, Oklahoma, and Missisippi St.

PF Nick Wadden- As of now, Illinois is the only choice for Nick, as he seems to want to go and play with Mr. Schaplowsky.

SF Jaquaan Ruin- Jaquaan is showing interest in Colorado St., Colorado, Denver, UTEP, and Air Force. Colorado St. and Denver have offered scholarships.

SG Dean Hoo- It's still wide open for Dean, as he is considering Hofstra, Wagner, Princeton, Rider, and Seton Hall.

September 2010

C Eric Anderson- Not much has changed. Still the same top 5 for Eric, although Kentucky has moved to 4th on the list. Tennessee is up to third, and Mississippi St. moved up to second. Tennessee is still the favorite, and all except Michigan St. have offered.

SG Jason McDowell- Kansas has dropped off of Jason's top 5 list, as it appears he wants to stay out west to play. Washington, Oregon, and Gonzaga have offered, BYU has not.

C Deacon Palmer- South Alabama has dropped out of Deacon's top 5, and Michigan St. has entered it. LSU is the only one of the 5 schools that have offered.

PF Nick Wadden- It looks like Nick has his heart set on Illinois, as he isn't looking at any other school. They have yet to offer though.

SF Jaquaan Ruin- Denver, UTEP, and Air Force have all been removed from the top 5, and San Diego St. has entered it. They haven't offered a schollie yet, Colorado and Colorado St. have.

SG Dean Hoo- Hofstra and Wagner are the only schools that stayed in Dean's top 5. Princeton, Rider, and Seton Hall are out, Holy Cross, Penn, and Army are in. All 5 school have offered, so it'll be interesting to see where Dean ends up.

October 2010

C Eric Anderson- Eric, in a shocking decision, has narrowed it down to Tennessee and Michigan St. Tennessee has offered, the Spartans have not. So will Eric stay close to home, or will he go to the midwest to play alongside Will Brown.

SG Jason McDowell- Jason has orally committed to Washington, and unless another team jumps in the mix late, he is expected to sign with the Huskies next month.

C Deacon Palmer- Michigan St. has jumped all the way up to #2 on Deacons list, and the rest of the top 5 remains. LSU is still the top choice, while Houston, Oklahoma, and Mississippi St. are still in the mix. LSU and Michigan St. have offered, the others have not.

PF Nick Wadden- The recruiting is now hot and heavy for Nick, as 4 schools have joined the mix: Kansas, Michigan St., Temple, and Vanderbilt. Illinois is still Nick's #1, but their refusal to offer Nick a scholarship has left the door open for other schools.

SF Jaquaan Ruin- Nothing has changed for Jaquaan, as Colorado and Colorado St. are still offering and San Diego St. isn't.

SG Dean Hoo- Dean has orally committed to Hofstra and will look to sign next month.

November 2010

C Eric Anderson- Both Duke and Florida also made a late charge for Eric, but it was too late. Eric signed with Tennessee and will be a Volunteer.

SG Jason McDowell- No signature for Washington yet, as UNLV has made a push to get Jason. Unfortunately they haven't offered a schollie yet, but they have done enough to make Jason hold off on signing with the Huskies.

C Deacon Palmer- Houston, Oklahoma, and Mississippi St. have dropped from the list, and it now appears to be between LSU, Michigan St., and Illinois. All but Illinois have offered.

PF Nick Wadden- It's still wide open for Nick. Still no offer from Illinois. Michigan St., Kansas, Duke, and Maryland are also in the mix, but none have offered yet. Starting to seem like Nick is a back-up plan for all the big time schools.

SF Jaquaan Ruin- Colorado St. will be getting Jaquaan services, and they hope it'll be for the next 4 years. Jaquaan signed his letter of intent today.

SG Dean Hoo- As expected, Dean has signed with Hofstra.

So 3 out of our 6 recruits signed before the season started, and it looks like Nick, Deacon, and Jason still have some tough decisions to make.

We are getting ready to start the 2010-2011 season, and here is what the playing status looks like for our first 6 recruits:

SF Will Brown (Michigan St.)- Will is expected to get good minutes off the bench, as he has 2 star SF's ahead of him. He will definitely get his PT though.

PF Jace Hunter (Kansas)- Apparently Jace must have had some bad preseason training and practices, because he is listed 13th on the depth chart. Ouch! We'll hope he works his way into the rotation as the season goes on.

PG Mike Schaplowsky (Illinois)- Mike is expected to get the start at PG to begin the season, but there are 2 just as capable PG's behind him, so if Mike slips up, he could be coming off the bench.

SG Kuji Chagulia (Clemson)- Kuji is expected to be the starting SG for Clemson, as there isn't really another formidable option for the Tigers at that position. So Kuji gets the start by default pretty much.

PF Tom Steele (San Diego St.)- Tom may not be much of a factor this year, he's expected to play with the second team, coming off the bench. He's got a bright upside however.

PG Dave O'Shea (Temple)- The Owls decided not to redshirt Dave, as he is expected to get his fair share of playing time. There are quite a few players ahead of him though. He's listed 11th on the depth chart.

So the surprise here is definitely Jace Hunter, who already seems to be in the doghouse at Kansas.

Nov. 7-14, 2010

Only 5 games to talk about this week, all tournament games. Clemson, Kansas, and San Diego St. are mentioned in these games. Temple, Illinois, and Michigan St. don't get goin until next week.

We'll start with the Coaches Invitational, where both Clemson and San Diego St. were playing

Nov. 8- (10) Illinois St. vs. (7) San Diego St. -- The Aztecs fell behind 40-23 at halftime and could never recover, losing to Illinois St. 76-70. Tom Steele logged 3 useless minutes of action.

Nov. 8- (11) Wright St. vs. (6) Clemson -- The Tigers used 55% shooting to win their first round game, handling Wright St. 85-75. A nice debut for Kuji Chagulia, who scored 10 points on 4-5 shooting, and 2-3from three point land.

Nov. 10- (6) Clemson vs. (3) #12 Oklahoma -- A good effort by Clemson, but the Sooners used a 44-27 advantage on the boards to get second chane points and eventually win 72-63 in the second round of the Coaches Invitational. Chagulia posted 7 points tonight on just 2-5 shooting. He also added 2 boards and 2 assists.

Next we move to the preseason NIT, where Kansas was playing.

Nov. 11- (16) Western Carolina vs. (1) Kansas -- This game wasn't close. The Jayhawks outscored Western Carolina 60-30 in the second half to roll to a 113-72 victory. One man who didn't get to join the fun was Jace Hunter, who did not play due to coaches decision.

Nov. 13- (8) Providence vs. (1) Kansas -- A tougher game for the Jayhawks this time, but Kansas led by 14 at the half and got a 67-57 victory. Again, no action for Hunter, who has a long season ahead of him. It appears the only way he'll get action is if one of the 3 PF's ahead of him get hurt. Apparently KU was recruiting him for the future, and not the present.

That's all I have time for right now, I'm working a long shift today, so I won't have anymore posts until later tonight. I wanted to get the first week in to give you all an idea of how my reporting would go. There will be polls every week, even if none of our recruits teams are ranked or receiving votes. For this first season, I think I'm going to do game by game reporting. There's only 6 teams, so I think I can handle it. With 12 teams next year, I may not do game by game reporting, I haven't decided yet. It depends on how I feel. I'm enjoying this, and I'm glad it's getting feedback, but I don't want to get too burnt out on it by overreporting things. More posts later.

I'm gonna stick with game by game for now, and see how it goes for a while. If I feel myself not enjoying it as much, I'll switch it to just a quick weekly recap. Thanks for the comments.

A few more tournaments to tell you about. Let's start with the Maui Shootout, where Illinois was this week.

Nov. 18- (6) Old Dominion vs. (3) #23 Illinois -- The Illini won their first game of the Maui Shootout handily, 67-50. Not a good debut for Mike Schaplowsky who scored 2 points on 1-7 shooting, and only had 4 assists with 3 turnovers.

Nov. 19- (3) #23 Illinois vs. (2) Texas -- Illinois battled, but fell short in the semifinals in Maui, losing 94-86. A better performance for Schaplowsky who scored 13 points on 5-9 shooting. He only had 2 assists though, and 3 turnovers again.

Nov. 20- (5) #20 South Carolina vs. (3) #23 Illinois -- In the third place game, it was all Illinois, as they won 73-56. Schaplowsky finished with only 6 points, but also had 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, but 4 turnovers.

Now we move on to the Alaska Invitational, where Temple was playing.

Nov. 19 - (8) San Diego vs. (1) Temple -- This game was all Owls, as they won 77-57. No action tonight for Dave O'Shea.

Nov. 20- (5) Siena vs. (1) Temple -- A shocker tonight, as Siena was ahead 55-31 at halftime and rolled to a 90-62 win. Another actionless night for O'Shea who didn't even get in the game despite the lopsided score.

Nov. 21- (2) Cincinnati vs. (1) Temple -- The expected championship of this tournament ended up being the third place game, and Temple squandered a 6 point halftime lead, ended up losing 76-65. Again no action for O'Shea.

Now we have the Preseason NIT, where Kansas had their semifinal game.

Nov. 20- (5) #7 Creighton vs. (1) #19 Kansas -- The Jayhawks were pushed in their semifinal game. They survived 35% shooting to win 76-69 and advance to the championship game. Kansas played 13 players tonight, but Jace Hunter wasn't one of them.

There were 3 non-tournament games this week, so let's review them.

Nov. 17- Michigan St. @ Wake Forest -- The Spartans were held to just 26 points in the second half of their game as they lost to Wake 85-69. Will Brown made his debut with a 6 point, 3 rebound effort.

Nov. 20- Akron @ Michigan St. -- The Spartans led by 14 at halftime, and held on for 77-67 win. Brown was ineffective tonight, as he scored just 2 points on 1 of 4 shooting in just 8 minutes.

Nov. 21- East Tennessee St. @ Clemson -- This one was all Clemson, as they rolled to a 112-81 victory. Kuji Chagulia had 6 points on 3-7 shooting.

My Tiger teammates need to get me the ball more, especially when the ACC schedule comes around.

Nov. 22-28, 2010

There is one tournament game to report on this week, the Preseason NIT championship. Let's start with it.

Nov. 22- (7) LSU vs. (1) #15 Kansas -- The Jayhawks were never really tested tonight, as they won easily, 80-65. Another benchwarming game for Jace Hunter.

Now there were 9 regular games this week, let's review them now.

Nov. 22- Texas @ Illinois -- The Illini got revenge from the loss last week in the Maui Shootout, beating Texas 83-67. Mike Schaplowsky scored 11 points, but had no assists and 2 turnovers.

Nov. 24- DePaul @ Michigan St. -- The Spartans had no trouble with DePaul tonight, winning 72-54. Will Brown had 4 points on 2 of 4 shooting in 9 minutes.

Nov. 25- High Point @ San Diego St. -- The Aztecs were all over High Point, winning 85-63, but no action for Tom Steele.

Nov. 25- Illinois @ Central Arkansas -- This one was a rout, as Illinois shot 66.6% from the field to win easily 106-66. A solid game for Mike Schaplowsky, who scored 8 points, and had 4 assists and only 1 turnover.

Nov. 26- Michigan St. @ Seton Hall -- The Spartans were tested in this one, as the Hall proved to be tough. In the end, Michigan St. survived 80-72. A great day from the field for Will Brown, who scored 10 points on a perfect 4-4 shooting from the field. His only miss was a free throw, but he was still 2-3 from the line.

Nov. 27- San Diego St. @ UC Riverside -- A superb defensive effort from the Aztecs, who held Riverside to just 9 second half points, and only 30 points for the entire game on 27.5% shooting. The Aztecs rolled 57-30, but for the second straight game, Tom Steele spent it all on the bench.

Nov. 28- Delaware St. @ Michigan St. -- Another easy one for the Spartans, as they rolled to an 84-62 victory. As great of a game as he had in their last game, Will Brown was bad tonight. He was 0-6 from the field, and his only points came on 2 free throws.

Nov. 28- Georgia Southern @ Clemson -- The Tigers were actually down by 7 at halftime, but thanks to Kuji Chagulia, they bounced back to win 85-65. Chagulia was the leading scorer tonight with 18 points on 7-12 shooting. Great night for him.

Nov. 28- Temple @ American -- No problem for Temple tonight, as they rolled to 73-54 victory. Unfortunately no action again for Dave O'Shea.

Nov. 29-Dec. 5, 2010

Nov. 29- #13 Kansas @ Louisiana Tech -- The Jayhawks could only manage 30.5% shooting from the field tonight as LA Tech hammered them 67-45. Jace Hunter again DNP.

Nov. 30- #11 Auburn @ Michigan St. -- The Spartans pulled the upset over nationally ranked Auburn tonight, leading by 19 at halftime and winning 81-68. Will Brown only logged 4 minutes tonight, and scored 2 points.

Dec. 1- Hampton @ San Diego St. -- This game was over at halftime, as the Aztecs rolled to a 100-57 victory. Unfortunately, this did not equate to playing time for Tom Steele.

Dec. 2- Northwestern @ #15 Kansas -- The Jayhawks got back to their winning ways with an easy 78-56 victory, and still no action for Jace Hunter.

Dec. 2- Loyola-Maryland @ Temple -- This was a close game all the way, but Temple prevailed 75-71. No playing time for Dave O'Shea.

Dec. 4- Bradley @ Michigan St. -- The Spartans stayed hot, winning 81-63, as Will Brown scored 6 points on 2-4 from the field and 2-2 from the line in 13 minutes of action.

Dec. 4- Illinois @ #9 Louisville -- Illinois was hot tonight, pounding Louisville 80-64. Mike Schaplowsky had a decent game, scoring 4 points and adding 5 boards and 3 assists, with just 1 turnover.

Dec. 5- Green Bay @ #15 Kansas -- The Jayhawks forced 22 turnovers in an easy 84-56 victory in yet another bench warming effort for Jace Hunter.

Dec. 5- UC Irvine @ San Diego St. -- 31.4% shooting doomed the Aztecs tonight as they lost 54-46. No action for Tom Steele.

Dec. 2010 Recuriting

Our last 3 guys for the class of 2011 made their announcements.

SG James McDowell- James signed with Washington, despite the late interest from UNLV, Pitt, Mississippi St., and Ohio St.

C Deacon Palmer- LSU, Michigan St., and Illinois were all in the mix, but LSU won. Deacon will join Eric Anderson in the SEC as he becomes an LSU Tiger.

PF Nick Wadden- Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Temple, and Arizona all visited Nick. In the end, he got his wish, as Illinois finally offered him the scholarship he was looking for, and Nick will join Mike Schaplowsky at Illinois.

No problem Dark Cloud. I enjoy doing this a lot, I love interactive dynasties, I've just never been able to stick with one for more than a season or two. I'd like to get all 12 of these recruits a full 4 years in college, in short, I'd like to go with this as long as I can, kinda like cmp has for his TCY dynasty.

Dec. 6- Marquette @ #20 Illinois -- The Illini kept on winning as they handled Marquette 89-77. A solid night for Mike Schaplowsky who scored 11 points on 5-10 shooting. Although he only had 3 assists, the best stat is that he had no turnovers.

Dec. 6- #21 Michigan St. @ N.C. State -- The Spartans had to battle in this one as they were down by 3 at halftime. They rallied to win 55-51, as Will Brown scored 10 big points in only 8 minutes of action.

Dec. 7- Drake @ #13 Kansas -- Drake actually had a better shooting percentage in this game, but Kansas won where it mattered: on the scoreboard. The Jayhawks won 64-52. Jace Hunter, as per usual, was riding the pine in this one.

Dec. 7- Furman @ Clemson -- This one was a laugher, as Clemson led 50-17 at halftime and never looked back, blowing out Furman 83-39. Kuji Chagulia had a nice night with 13 points and 6 boards.

Dec. 8- Eastern Washington @ #20 Illinois -- This was a much closer game than expected as E. Washington hung tough. The Illini pulled it out however, 78-69. Not the best of games for Mike Schaplowsky, as he only scored 7 points, and had no assists and 2 turnovers.

Dec. 9- Temple @ #21 Michigan St. -- So the first of many battles between 2 of our recruits teams, and it was a good one. Temple was primed for the upset, leading by 11 at halftime, but the Spartans came storming back to win 71-65. Will Brown scored 5 points on just 2-8 shooting, and the warm-up jersey finally came off for Dave O'Shea, who played the last minute of the game and scored 2 points.

Dec. 10- Cal St. Fullerton @ San Diego St. -- This game was tied at halftime, but the Aztecs gained control in the second half, winning 82-73. Unfortunately, Tom Steele was on the bench again for the whole game.

Dec. 10- #24 Creighton @ #13 Kansas -- This was a rematch from the Preseason NIT, which the Jayhawks won. They also won the battle tonight, 74-61. Again no action for Jace Hunter, who is the only one of the 6 recruits yet to see game action.

Dec. 11- College of Charleston @ Clemson -- A huge game tonight for Kuji Chagulia, who had a season high 24 points on 8-14 shooting, and 6-6 from the line. He helped Clemson to 64-48 victory.

Dec. 12- Temple @ Jacksonville St. -- Dave O'Shea didn't make it off the bench for this game, which was won by Temple 72-61.

Dec. 12- Arizona @ San Diego St. -- A big difference in field goal shooting, as the Aztecs let Arizona shoot 51.9% from the field and only shot 34.3% themselves. The result? A 78-64 Aztec loss. On a bright note, Tom Steele saw his second action of the season, converting a three point play late in his only minute of action.

Michigan St. started play in the Las Vegas Shootout this week, playing 3 games. Let's look at those.

Dec. 16- (16) Idaho St. vs. (1) #16 Michigan St. -- This game was much closer than it should have been, but the Spartans survived to make it to the quarterfinals with a 62-50 victory. Will Brown scored 6 points in 10 minutes.

Dec. 18- (8) Wyoming vs. (1) #16 Michigan St. -- A much better performance by the Spartans as they led by 19 at halftime and rolled to an 87-61 victory. Will Brown was ineffective tonight, missing his only shot, but hitting 2 free throws for his only 2 points.

Dec. 19- (5) New Mexico St. vs. (1) #16 Michigan St. -- The Spartans rallied from a 9 point halftime deficit to advance to the championship of the Las Vegas Shootout with a 72-62 victory. Foul trouble sidelined Will Brown tonight, as he had 4 fouls in 4 minutes, but made his only shot.

Here are the other games for the week.

Dec. 15- Drexel @ Temple -- This was a hard fought game all the way, but the Owls survived 64-61. No action for Dave O'Shea.

Dec. 16- #14 Cincinnati @ #10 Kansas -- The Jayhawks couldn't get a stop late as they lost 86-83 in this battle of top 15 teams. Again no action for Jace Hunter.

Dec. 16- Clemson @ Ohio St. -- The Tigers kept up their winning ways, surviving a tough Buckeye team 71-64. Kuji Chagulia scored 15 points on 6-11 shooting, another solid game for him.

Dec. 16- San Diego St. @ Loyola Marymount -- The Aztecs shot 50.8% to roll to a 77-57 victory as Tom Steele never made it off the bench tonight.

Dec. 17- #9 Illinois @ #2 Pittsburgh -- This battle of top ten teams wasn't even close, as only 1 team came to play. Pitt shot 54.2% as they handed the Illini a convincing 95-51 loss. Mike Schaplowsky had only 5 points, 2 assists, and 2 turnovers in the losing effort.

Dec. 18- Missouri St. @ #10 Kansas -- The Jayhawks broke open a close game in the second half and rolled to a 98-62 victory. Even with the blowout win, Jace Hunter still saw no action.

Dec. 19- Wofford @ Clemson -- Clemson continued to play well, winning 69-49. An off night for Kuji Chagulia, who only scored 8 points on 3-10 shooting.

Dec. 19- Temple @ Lafayette -- A bad loss for Temple tonight, as they never could get on track in a 71-60 loss. Another full game on the bench for Dave O'Shea.

Las Vegas Shootout Championship

Dec. 20- (2) #19 Wake Forest vs. (1) #7 Michigan St. -- This game should have been a great one, but it wasn't. The Spartans controlled it from the opening tip and won easily, 80-55. Will Brown played only 5 minutes and missed his only shot from the field.

Other Games

Dec. 21 - Gardner Webb @ #22 Clemson -- The Tigers rolled to a 102-64 victory in a snoozer of a game. Kuji Chagulia scored 14 points on 4-7 shooting, including 3-5 from the three point arc.

Dec. 23- Butler @ #25 Illinois -- This game took overtime to complete, but the Illini pulled out a 99-95 win. Mike Schaplowsky scored 4 points, and had 4 assists and 2 turnovers in the effort.

Dec. 23 - Delaware St. @ Temple -- The Owls used 53.1% shooting to roll to an 87-59 victory tonight, as Dave O'Shea again rode the pine.

Dec. 24- Appalachian St. @ #22 Clemson -- If not for Kuji Chagulia, Clemson probably loses this game. Chagulia scored 22 points on 9-15 shooting as the Tigers survived 63-61.

Dec. 24- Eastern Washington @ #21 Kansas -- The Jayhawks rolled to a 96-67 victory, and Jace Hunter is probably wishing he would have took that redshirt offer from the Jayhawks, as he has not seen action all season.

Dec. 25- Penn St. @ #7 Michigan St. -- The Spartans began conference play in good fashion, rolling to a 78-56 victory. Will Brown only played 5 minutes, scoring 2 points on 1-2 shooting.

Dec. 25- Minnesota @#25 Illinois -- The Illini didn't need overtime to win this one, as they rolled in their conference opener 75-45. Mike Schaplowsky had a solid game, scoring 15 points, and although he only had 1 assist, he didn't have any turnovers.

Dec. 25- Hofstra @ Temple -- The Owls trailed by 1 at halftime, but outscored Hofstra 51-29 in the second half to win 86-65. No action again for Dave O'Shea, who may have wished he was redshirted as well.

Dec. 25- San Diego @ San Diego St. -- Another tough loss for the Aztecs, as they fell to their in-state counterpart 73-63. Another player who is wishing he would have redshirted is Tom Steele, who again saw no action.

Dec. 26- #6 Auburn @ #21 Kansas -- The Jayhawks led by 18 at halftime and rolled to a 74-63 victory. Jace Hunter again was sidelined, with still no action on the season.

Hope you all are enjoying this dynasty. I know it must be frustrating for you guys not seeing your players log a lot of minutes. It seems like Mike Schaplowsky and Kuji Chagulia are the only ones getting minutes and I'm not sure why. Jace Hunter was the second best of the 6 recruits, and he hasn't played yet. Will Brown was the best, and he's only playing 5 minutes a game. I'm not sure why some of these guys didn't redshirt. I'm sure a lot of the lack of playing time has to do with being freshmen and having better players ahead of them, I'm not sure. As it is, I'll try to have more posts today, if not, then I'll have more tomorrow.

I'm enjoying it, for sure, despite the three points in one minute of playing time. I'm waiting for that one chance to show my skills!

Dec. 27- Bucknell @ Temple -- The Owls rolled to a 91-57 victory tonight, as it was another actionless game for Dave O'Shea.

Dec. 27- #20 Clemson @ #9 Gonzaga -- The Tigers were outclassed tonight, as they gave up 69 points in the first half, in route to a 116-70 loss. A tough game for Kuji Chagulia, who scored 9 points on 4-6 shooting, but also had 4 turnovers.

Dec. 29- #21 Illinois @ #12 Indiana -- Indiana shot almost 60% for the game, as they hammered the Illini 98-85. Mike Schaplowsky had 8 points tonight, and 4 assists with just 1 turnover.

Dec. 29- #5 Michigan St. @ Purdue -- It was a tough one for the Spartans tonight, but they pulled it out, 74-67. A nice line for Will Brown as he had 9 points on 4-5 shooting.

Dec. 30- Cornell @ #15 Kansas -- The Jayhawks struggled, but still managed to beat Cornell 71-55. No action again for Jace Hunter, who met with his coach after the game and said that he was unhappy and would seek a transfer if he didn't start getting some PT.

Dec. 31- San Diego St. @ Northern Illinois -- The Aztecs outscored Northern Illinois by 14 in the second half, and that was the difference as they won 82-68. No action tonight for Tom Steele.

Jan. 1- #21 Illinois @ #3 Michigan St. -- So the first battle of our recruits teams was won by Michigan St., 86-77. Both of our recruits had solid days. I'm sure a lot of the lack of playing time has to do with being freshmen and having better players ahead of them, I'm not sure. As it is, I'll try to have more posts today, if not, then I'll have more tomorrow.

It's all good, I'm sure the PT will come, gotta earn it though

Hey I've gotten in a couple of games. Maybe the coaches just don't know how to handle greatness
