In the middle of a season and ......................................

I get an error and the game shuts down. I'm in Week 17 off the season and all games have been simulated except Dallas (my team) and Washington. Everytime I try and simulate it, it simulates and then the game gives me a "Front Office Football: The Fourth Edition has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

It sounds like th copy protection. Re-install the game and enter the information EXACTLY (case sensitive) as it is on the reciept.

I think I've had enough of this game. I've reinstalled it numerous times, due to copy protection. I know I have it right and the game continues to screw up, so with that I'm going back to FOF: The College Years.

That's NOT the copy protection IMO. Were you using an OPU?

The copy protection doesn't crash the game. It just fucks around with the data.

I agree with dacman. In general, people are too quick to blame everything that goes wrong in FOF4 on the copy protection.

Probably because it's one of the worst copy protection ideas EVER.

From looking at his dynasty I'd say no, he wasn't using an OPU.
