Game 3 - History is made at RFK Stadium, as Tawanna Griffin went 1 for 5 with a home run, a run, and 3 RBI's to win the ALCS and go back to the World Series for the first time since 1962, and a chance to win the world series after 55 years since their championship in 1924! (Washington 7, Minnesota 4) NLCS - Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Oakland Oaks Game 1 - Dick Nold Allowed 2 hits and a walk for Pittsburgh to knock Oakland to a 3-0 win over Oakland. Game 1 - Haruhiko Suzuki got 2 for 4, with a walk, two doubles, two runs and a RBI for Pittsburgh 7 (Pittsburgh 7, Washington 6) Game 2 - Forcing a Game 5 on Saturday at RFK Stadium, Tawanna Griffin knocked 3 for 4 with a walk, a double, 2 home runs, 2 runs and 3 RBI's to beat the Pirates 7-6. Game 3 - Kimberly Jackson knocked 2 hits for Washington to beat Pittsburgh 6-5. Game 4 - TIED UP AGAIN!, Beverly Glass went 2 for 5 for Pittsburgh to knock the Senators 11-3, to even up the series at 2 apeice Game 5 - Jeff Burroughs went 2 for 3, with 2 walks, a triple, a home run, 2 runs and 7 RBI's for Pittsburgh to beat Washington 14-3.
