I've missed the enigma.

This one does look tough - maybe it isn't once we think about it as a group for a little while.

A. Milano (cookie)
B. (Lou) Albano
C. Alabaster (mosque)
D. (Kristy) Yamaguchi?
E. (Molly) Ringwald
F. I have no idea - it looks like a young Elton John
G. (Homer) Simpson

The closeness of Milano-Albano makes me think there's one key word to take from each clue.

That doesn't look like a Milano cookie. It looks like bread and jam.

The one above Homer is the Bumblebee girl from Blind Melon's video for 'No Rain'.

Could Homer also be an expression of Doh?

Yep, I think that's it. The skater is Midori Ito, not Yamaguchi.

And the puzzle is solved.

Crap. Now I have to come up with a puzzle.

VPI spelled out the lyrics, but didn't think of the right tune. It will be a little bit before the enigma can post another puzzle, so if the current one isn't clear by then, the enigma will spoil it at that time.

Yes. I'm suffering through another bad week of the world's worst "high speed" ISP (coughchartercough), but it seems the hair poof in front with the pony tail is not Yamaguchi's signature alone. I see Ito in what appears to be that dress.

The Alabaster Mosque is also known as the Muhammad Ali Mosque.

1. Milano Cookie
2. Captain Lou Albano
3. Alabaster or Muhammad Ali Mosque
4. Midori Ito
5. Molly Ringwald or Claire Standish or The Breakfast Club
6. Blind Melon or No Rain
7. Homer Simpson or D'oh

And, while spending 20 minutes trying to post this, I see it's solved. Good job. I'm really bad with music lyrics so I probably wouldn't have been much help regardless.

So the lyrics of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" are:

A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido

Still trying to figure out the first pic. I've never heard of a black and white sandwich.

Ok, that was clever, even if it was Nirvana.

Of course, anybody from the Baltimore area knows that the quintessential black and white cookie is a Berger.

Anyway, that was...interesting. I don't think I've ever seen one of these solved.

Ok, so the pic is of a batch of homemade Milano cookies. Here is a page with the pic:

Southern Baker » Milano Cookies – Daring Bakers

I've never heard of Milano cookies referred to as 'mulatto'. Must be a regional thing.
