Im Getting a Board Game for Christmas
2 years ago I went to GenCon. There was a booth for Egor Games. I requested an old board game called "Supremacy"
Supremacy (board game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) Hope that link works. In the mail yesterday I received a notification the this company had found a copy of the board game in superior condition. It will cost $122 plus 15.95 for shipping and handling. It has many add-ons to increase the depth of the game. Cant wait. I couldnt believe that this company held my request for over 2 years and found the game. Very impressive. I will continue to deal with this company. |

Tarcone i have not been to GenCon since it moved to Indy but had always gone before then. Crazy Egor was always the place to go for the old out of print games. I once had that Supremacy game years ago, very good game.

GenCon was so much better when it was Milwaukee.
I went to the one in Indy the first year was there and it was like "...This sucks."

Might want to look on Ebay - I saw a copy of Supremacy plus all the expansions for around $100.

Yes it is Crazy Egors.
The condition of the game is superior. He said it look as if it has never been played. Thanks for the tips on finding it cheaper. I was wondering about the expansions and what those would cost. |

A friend of mine had this game back in the day. We all played it while drinking beer. We had sort of a board game playing club. We had several of the add-on modules. I havent seen this guy in years, but have his cell phone number. I called him this morning after you guys told about other venues to purchase it.
He was at the store but is going to go home and look for it. I may buy that one off him. That would be great. |

There are several online retailers for games:
funagain.com is good, as is thoughthammer.com. Boardsandbits.com is another good retailer. For wargames, look for the The Gamer's Armory. |

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
Well. My friend went home and he asked his wife. She told him that she threw them out this summer when she cleaned the basement. All his board games gone. I asked him if she knew how much money she threw away. He said yes, but she doesnt believe him. Sigh. Ill be checking those sites |

Prior to being held in Milwaukee Gen Con was held on the campus of one of the smaller University of Wisconsin sites, now those were the good old days.

I'll take a look at what I've got and its condition. I do remember that I had the main battle tanks, the boomer subs, and the expanded (giant) map
