PokerStars?
Anyone else frozen in the middle of a tourney? Looks like the whole site is screwed, and the cashier is showing nothing for my account. Not good, not good.

This sucks. I just redeposited the majority of my bankroll into PokerStars and decided to "get back to my roots" by playing .25/.50 limit. A half hour after I do so, this happens. Now I don't know what to do with my evening.

Well, I'm not going to sit in there all night waiting. I e-mailed them. Hopefully they'll refund my entry fee.

Yeah, I was in the middle of a ring game when it froze. But it was a welcome interruption for me as I was on a really bad run of cards.

Okay, I'm bumping this for two reasons. 1.) Poker stars refunded my money plus a percentage of the tournament winnings so I'm pretty happy with that.
and 2.) I didn't want to start another thread to brag about the fact that I finally won my first sit and go. I'm relatively new to poker (don't have enough money to do it too much), but the best I had done before this was placing fifth once and winning a few bucks. This was a small sit and go so not a lot of money, but it's still cool to me that I won. |

Awesome!!! I miss the Limit Sit&Go's on PStars. It seems to be really tough to get a game together since they added the $1+$.20 NL 45-person tourneys. Those are hugely popular (and I've been playing them a lot more lately to work on my NL game).
Congrats |

I can't play in a 2 hr. or more tourney knowing I can make a max of $13.

I understand completely, but when you haven't played very much, like kingnebwsu said, it's a good way to tune you're game and get experience. Not big stakes. You lose; it's not too big of a deal. Thanks for the congrats, kingnebwsu. I've probably seen you in there if you've been playing them. What's your name on there? |
