Does anyone know how to change files

I'm trying to expand a file but all my computer is doing is looking for *.cab files does anyone know now to change this?

Not sure what you are wanting to do or trying to do. But it sounds like from this and another post of yours about your PC that you may need to reformat and reinstall your OS and you programs. I'd maybe contact a local computer person and ask them for some assistance.

Are you trying to extract a specific file from a Windows cabinet file?
